The clerk had no idea what he was planning, but something about Logan's terrifyingly calm demeanor made her instantly obey. She quietly gave him the Bluetooth name.
Logan paired his phone, and a second later, the massive promotional speaker outside the store blasted at maximum volume:
"Board Member Silas Sutton of The Summit Plaza! Your daughter is throwing a tantrum and harassing shoppers! Please come down and handle her!"
"Board Member Silas Sutton of The Summit Plaza! Your daughter is throwing a tantrum and harassing shoppers! Please come down and handle her!"
"..."
Every other store in the mall was playing soft pop music or subtle promotional ads. This blaring, public call-out was incredibly jarring. Since it was a busy weekend, a massive crowd instantly swarmed the storefront to see the drama.
Serena stared at Logan, utterly paralyzed by shock. When her brain finally caught up, her face turned violently red. "You—you trashy mechanic! Have you no shame?!"
She shrieked at the clerk, "Turn that off right now!"
Logan offered a wicked smile. "Why? I thought you wanted your daddy to come defend your honor? Why turn it off?"
"Are you insane? Who does this?!"
"Isn't this what toddlers do when they get into a fight? They call their parents. I'm just helping you out."
"You..." Boiling with rage at being compared to a toddler, Serena frantically searched the store entrance until she found the speaker's power cord and violently yanked it from the wall.
The crowd loitering near the entrance kept pretending to browse the racks, absolutely living for the spectacle.
Knowing she was making a complete fool of herself, Serena pointed a trembling finger at Logan and Sloane. "You... you two are going to pay for this!"
She grabbed her friend's arm and stormed off in utter humiliation.
Logan calmly scanned his phone, paid for the dress, and smiled at the stunned clerk. "That's how you deal with bullies."
The clerk blushed fiercely, offering a shy, grateful smile.

Serena was absolutely not going to let this slide.
