She bumped right into Logan as he was coming out of the bathroom.

He had gotten up early to run a twelve-mile route and had just finished taking a cold shower.

A towel hung low on his hips, leaving his sharp V-line tantalizingly on display.

Sloane was speechless.

Seeing her standing there, Logan greeted her casually, "Morning!"

Sloane swallowed hard. "Morning!"

"Heading to work?"

"G-getting ready to." She didn't dare look directly at him.

Just then, the doorbell rang.

Sloane rushed over to open it like it was a lifeline.

The Global Fertility Association's delivery robot stood outside. "Good morning, Ms. Sutton, and Mr. Lennox. I'm here to deliver your breakfast."

The robot handed over fresh pastries and milk.

Sloane was confused. "Why is there milk today?"

"Because the two of you slept together last night."

"S-slept together?" Sloane's eyes went wide.

The robot cheerfully continued, "According to the tracking data on your bands, you two definitely shared the same bed last night. However, it's quite strange—your heart rates didn't reach the standard metrics for consummation."

Sloane was mortified.

The robot forged ahead mercilessly. "Perhaps I could schedule an appointment with a medical specialist for you both? We can run some tests and see where the problem lies. Ms. Sutton, would you like me to book that for you?"

"N-no, I absolutely do not!"

"Then what about you, Mr. Lennox?"

Logan cleared his throat. "...I'm good, thanks."

He had literally run twelve miles this morning just to suppress the fire in his body.

Sloane quickly slammed the door shut and carried the breakfast over to the dining table.

Logan had already changed into his work clothes, sporting a shirt with the 'Panda Auto Works' logo printed on the front and back.

Sloane looked at him. As embarrassing as it was, she felt they needed to clear the air, so she forced herself to speak. "Did I... crawl into your bed last night?"

Her bluntness caught Logan off guard, making him cough uncontrollably.

"Cough... yeah, you did."
