Chapter 108
Hearing this, Sophia arched an eyebrow, a hint of amusement in her eyes. “Are you doubting me?” she asked.
Kelly answered, “Well… not exactly, it’s just that…”
Sophia cut her off and said, “Kelly, you can’t be so rigid in life. Learn to be flexible; otherwise, with that personality of yours, you’re bound to get the short end of the stick.”
Dorian chimed in with a nod, “Totally! Who says one can only have one phone? I’ve got two smartphones, a tablet, a laptop, plus a high–end gaming ng in my study.”
Sophia shot Dorian an approving look and said, “Not bad, kid. Quick thinking.”
Kelly finally caught on. “Wait, so you mean Lucy has two phones?” she asked.
Sophia nodded and said, “Smart”
Before Kelly could even feel pleased, Mrs. Herbert charged furiously at Sophia and snarled, “You filthy little bitch! Who told you to fabricate these lies? You and Kelly are in cahoots; she sent you here! I’ll beat you to death!”
Kelly stood facing Sophia, back to Mrs. Herbert. Lucy’s sudden move made Kelly instinctively turn around; and in an instant, the two women were locked in a vicious catfight. Hair was yanked, faces were scratched, and vulgar insults flew out.
Sophia shook her head with a sarcastic sigh.
Dorian leaned in, eyes sparkling with curiosity. “Sophia, what’s up?” asked Dorian.
Sophia watched them yanking each other’s hair and quipped, “Who would’ve thought a rich family catfight could be so basic and raw?” Then, she added, “Imagine if Heather got into a hair–pulling match, now that would be a show. Honestly, I’d love to see.”
Dorian nearly dropped the popcorn he was munching, then mechanically picked it up and tossed it in the trash.
“Kelly, stop!” Leon shouted, his face livid with rage.
Ignoring everyone around her, Kelly seemed completely lost in her own rage, channeling all her pent–up fury into her blows. Lucy, no match for her at her age, could only wail in pain as she was scratched relentlessly.
Veins bulged on Leon’s forehead as he stepped forward to break up the fight, but a hand shot out, blocking his way.
“Sophia, what do you think you’re doing?” Leon shouted, his brows furrowed in displeasure.
Sophia tilted her head, shooting Leon a sidelong glance and said, “This is between women; guys like you should really stay out of it.”
Leon gritted his teeth and warned, “You’re crossing the line, Sophia. Don’t push your luck!”
“Over the line?” Sophia scoffed. “Your mother having an affair isn’t over the line? Have you seen that green cuckold sign flashing above your dad And the funniest part is you; you’re largely to blame for your mom’s infidelity. Poor Mr. Herbert.”
Seeing Blake’s face turn purple with rage, Leon finally snapped and said, “Sophia, don’t think you can spout nonsense just because people are afraid of you! Today, I’ll teach you a lesson on Jonathan’s behalf!”
Sophia sneered and said, “Teach me a lesson on Jonathan’s behalf? He isn’t even worthy, let alone you.” Sophia stepped right up to Leon, eyes glinting with scorn, one eyebrow arched in a blatant challenge.
Leon’s face turned beet red as he glared daggers at Sophia, fists clenched, looking like he might snap and take a swing at Sophia any second.
Dorian stepped in front of Leon, blinked innocently, and said “Uncle Leon, are you trying to bully someone younger now?”

Leon’s chest heaved with rage and then said, “You… What nonsense are you pulling with her?” Leon thought, ‘Everyone knows Dorian’s the apple of the Stone family’s eye. I never imagined their precious child would stoop hanging around with trash like Sophia.
Dorian said unhappily, “Uncle Leon, just because you’re older doesn’t mean you
can twist the truth. Clearly, you guys are the ones making a fuss here
Leon took a deep breath, glaring at the two youngsters before him. Through clenched teeth, he ordered, “Butler, escort Ms. Chandler and Young Master Stone out.”
Dorian wouldn’t have it. He dashed over to the ashen–faced Blake and blurted out, “Blake, Uncle Leon’s panicking; he’s trying to shut Sophia up!”
Leon fell silent and his face turned purple with rage; he was so furious he nearly spat blood.
Dorian then said, “Sophia, go on! What’s really going on here? Blake, you’re dying to know too, aren’t you?”
Blake, whose health had always been frail, now turned a sickly shade of purple with rage. Blake’s lips trembled uncontrollably, rendering him speechless.
The fight finally subsided, leaving Lucy disheveled in clothes and hair. Lucy collapsed on the floor, wailing dramatically, “What a curse upon our family! To have married such a wretch like you! The Hebert family wants nothing to do with you!”
After the fight, Kelly felt instantly refreshed and full of energy. She sneered and then said, “How hilarious! No matter what, I’m better than someone like you who cheated on her husband. Like mother, like son! If word goes out… That’ll be a real scandal!”
“Kelly, shut your mouth!” Leon shouted.
“What are you yelling at me for? It was your mother who cheated, not me. If you’ve got the guts, go yell at her!” Kelly shouted back.
Kelly rolled her eyes dramatically, rushed up to Sophia and said, “Come on, Sophia, give us the juicy details!”
Sophia shot Kelly a look. After a split second of surprise, Kelly hastily pulled out her phone and sent the payment.
Sophia mused and thought, ‘Honestly, it wasn’t about her money. Lucy just wanted to attack me but clashed with Kelly instead. I do feel a twinge of guilt, but I’d never give back money that’s already mine.‘
Sophia leaned in and revealed, “Guess what? Lucy’s affair partner is actually the father of your husband’s mistress.”
Kelly’s jaw dropped. “What?!” she shouted.
Not only was Kelly stunned speechless, but even Dorian and the rest of the Hebert family were left utterly dumbfounded; the revelation was absolutely mind–blowing. In that instant, everyone’s eyes locked onto Sophia and thought, ‘Come on! Spill more.‘
Sophia, true to everyone’s expectations, revealed, “Lucy resented you. After she found out your husband was cheating, she deliberately befriended the mistress to get her own twisted satisfaction. They went shopping together all the time and even became besties.”
“Over time, Lucy and the mistress’s father hit it off, turns out they both love dancing and hiking.”
