Chapter 158
Two scared screams sounded at the same time. Sophia was grabbing Yvette’s threat with one hand and pressing a small knife close to her eyes the Blade was less than an inch away.
One shake of her hand, and the knife would go straight into Yvette’s eye socket. Heather’s legs gave out, and she fell to her knees, loving very pals and trembling all over.
Yvette, even more scared, shut her eyes tight and barely dared to breathe. She wished she could just pass out. Her voice was shaky with crying as she whimpered, “Sophia, what the hell are you trying to do?”
Sophia didn’t answer. Instead, she pressed the flat side of the knife on Yvette’s cheek, dragging it back and forth across her skin slowly and threateningly
“Please don’t!” Yvette shut her eyes tight, too scared to look. Without seeing, every touch felt sharp–the icy blade against her skin made her feel pare terror, her fear getting worse and worse.
Seeing this, even though she was scared too, Heather forced herself to stay calm. Her voice shook as she begged, “Sophia, put the knife down first. Let’s talk this out, okay?”
Sophia curled her lips into a smirk. “I’m crazy–I don’t understand what you’re saying.”
The blade slowly moved from Yvette’s forehead down to her eyebrows, then to her eyes, cheek, and jaw, and finally pressed against her neck. Wette trembled hard, her eyelashes fluttering in fear, tears running down her face.
“Sophia, you wouldn’t dare kill me, would you? If you kill me, you’ll die too. You just wouldn’t,” Yvette’s voice shook, trying to convince herself.
Sophia let out a cold snort. “You’re right. Killing you now would be way too easy for you. I actually like seeing you like this.”
Then she started laughing–a cold, crazy laugh that sounded dangerous. She said, “Aren’t you the most important person in the world? If I carve a few decorations into your skin, it wouldn’t really kill you.”
Sophia’s voice was softly cruel, like a child teasing but dangerous. Yvette kept trembling, tears rolling down her face as she stammered, “H–hurting people is against the law.”
Sophia sneered, acting like it was the funniest thing she’d ever heard. Her dark eyes looked full of violence. She tightened her grip on Yvette’s neck and, with her other hand, stabbed the knife into Yvette’s thigh. Blood immediately poured out.
Sophia said, “Wow, you even talk about the law. How come you never thought of that when you were hurting me, huh?”
Yvette’s mouth opened wide in a silent scream–she couldn’t even gasp for air. Her face twisted in pain, her brows furrowed tight, cold sweat on her pale skin.
The pain was so intense it made her whole body tremble, her mind fogged over, and she nearly blacked out.
Seeing the blood rushing out made Heather cry even harder. Tears ran down her face as she begged, “Sophia, don’t act rash! You’re my good girl–please, listen to your mother and let Yvette go.”
Sophia scoffed coldly, her voice calm but mean. “Shut up.”
Heather froze, hardly recognizing her own daughter. Her voice shook as she looked around desperately–only to see all the servants had disappeared. Her hands trembled as she picked up her phone and called Jonathan.
Sophia looked crazy, but underneath she was cool and calm. She slowly put aside the knife and started beating Yvette badly. Yvette cried and sobbed uncontrollably. Sophia grabbed her by the hair and dragged her toward the bathroom.
Blood left a trail all along the way, making it look like a crime scene. Sophia sneered at Yvette, “Here’s your special treatment. Don’t forget to pay me up.”
Yvette screamed in terror as Sophia pushed her head into the toilet, shoved the mop handle into her mouth, and then sprayed icy water from the shower

on her, leaving her soaked and trembling
After washing her own hands, Sophia carefully wiped each finger with a fissue. Without looking up, the coldly ordered, “Heather, bring me a pair of
scissors.”
Heather, in the middle of calling for help, froze. Sophia looked at her coldly and snapped, “Hurry up”
Heather quickly searched the drawers and finally found a pair of scissors. She held them with trembling hands and looked at Sophia, her voice shaky with fear, “W–what do you want the scissors for?”
Sophia looked at Yvette, who was curled up on the floor, with total contempt. “Yvette’s hair is gross,” she said coldly. “Cut it all off–and make sure you shave it close to the scalp. Got it?“.
Heather froze. Yvette tried to get up and run away. But Sophia kicked her hard, making her fall to the ground. Yvette doubled over, holding her stomach and groaning in pain. Heather’s eyes turned red from fear and worry.
Under Sophia’s impatient look, Heather picked up the scissors and walked toward Yvette. Yvette cried loudly, “Mom, please don’t cut my hair! it hurts.
Heather was crying too, but with Sophia watching her every move, she had no choice but to do what she was told. If she made Sophia angry, she would get hurt.
Through her tears, Heather said, “Don’t be scared, Yvette. It’s just hair–it will grow back really fast.” They cried quietly like helpless victims being bullied.
Sophia sat on the sofa, crossing her legs easily. The servants, who had disappeared before, now hurried to clean up the blood and then quickly brought her cold juice, fancy snacks, and a pretty fruit platter.
Sophia relaxed and ate her fruit, watching them cry with a twisted smile. Their sad crying sounded like music to her ears–making the fruit taste even sweeter. In her previous lives, when she killed them, their fear only lasted a moment.
Nothing in the past was as exciting as hurting and humiliating them like this. Sophia was very happy. “Hurry up! Stop wasting time,” Sophia snapped.
Heather moved her hand quickly, and the sharp tip of the scissors accidentally poked Yvette’s scalp.
Yvette shrieked in pain. Heather’s hand trembled; she almost dropped the scissors, but her fear kept her from moving. “I’m sorry, Yvette! I didn’t mean to,” she said.
