Thinking it was just some dumb rumor, he grabbed his phone from his assistant and opened Twitter. When he saw people calling him a joke, Howard froze, totally confused.

Alfred sucked in a sharp breath. “Howard, this isn’t the time to act stubborn. Do you even want to stay in this business? If you don’t, just go home and take over the family business. Stop making my life harder.”
Alfred couldn’t understand why Howard was being so difficult about, saying a few harmless words on a show. He didn’t know just how bad Howard and Sophia’s relationship really was
Seeing that Alfred was truly getting angry, Howard didn’t dare talk back anymore. But he still stayed silent, refusing to say anything.
The break ended. Howard pulled himself together and went back on stage, only to find that everyone was looking at him with strange, awkward eyes, Lke they wanted to say something but didn’t dare.
