She stepped into the elevator with a cold Coke in hand and noticed three well dressed young men wearing konry watches,

One of them had a round face, and was slightly chubby, with small eyes and a kind of sleazy look. He suddenly said, “Jerome, do you think Howard actually did that thing we talked about?”

The guy called Jerome was pretty good looking, but he gave off a gloomy vibe. “What thing?”

“You know, we told Howard to go home and scare that genus sister of his? It’s been a few days, I wonder if he went through with it,” the chubby guy said.

Jerome rolled his eyes. “If you wanna know, ask him yourself.”

The chubby one smirked and sent a message to Howard, clearly up to no good.

Leaning lazily against the elevator wall in her sunglasses, Sophia raised an eyebrow at the group. It turned out these gigs were the ones who told Howard to scare her with the snakes.

The world was really small. She put down her shopping bag and flexed her wrists.

Jerome Bennett was Teresa’s nephew. He and Teresa’s son, Zane, often partied together.

Jerome was a little smarter than Zane. Even though he lived a wild life and crossed the line often, he never got into any serious trouble. The women who hung out with him were always there by choice as long as he paid enough.

But this guy, who always treated women like toys, fell hard for Yvette at some party. From then on, he followed her around like a puppy.

Jerome had caused a lot of problems for Sophia. Since she was Yvette’s sister, he didn’t go too far. To others, those were just harmless jokes or silly pranks–but Sophia found them disgusting

One time, a bunch of guys were fighting over Yvette’s attention, and it stressed her out so much she missed out on a scholarship. She was really upset

about it.

Jerome drugged the girl who won the scholarship and took pictures of her, then used them to threaten her. The girl reported it to the police, but she didn’t have enough power or status to make anything happen. Jerome walked away without any consequences

Just as Sophia was about to get revenge for herself, the elevator suddenly shook

“What’s going on?” All three guys looked up. The lights started flickering, then went out. The elevator stopped moving.

“The elevator’s broken,” said Jerome, who was standing closest to the doors. He quickly pressed the emergency button inside.

“What do we do? We’re not gonna die here, right the chubby guy asked, his voice shaking.

“Shut up,” Jerome snapped.

He pulled out his phone to call for help, but there was no signal “Do you guys have a signal?” he asked.

The chubby guy was just about to check when he suddenly lunged at Jerome, slamming into him. Jerome’s head smacked hard against the elevator door

“Are you trying to kill me?” Jerome shouted.

“it’s not me. I don’t know. Outh the chubby guy cried out as pain shot through his leg, in collapsed to the floor together.

“Get off me, you fat idiot! What the hell are you doing? Get off Jerome yelled, trying to push him away, but all those nights of partying had left hem to

There they were –Jerome and the others, blindfolded and a total mess, tangled together in a heap. Their clothes were a wreck, andis and legs twisted together, with the guy on top even flashing half of his butt.

“Dude, is this, like, performance art or something? My eyes!”

Sophia had already slipped away the second the doors opened. No one noticed her at all. Jerome and his buddies, beaten and bruised, were stuck in a pile, humiliated while the crowd pointed and whispered.

“Stop filming! No pictures! Don’t you dare post anything!” Jerome roared. “If this gets out, I swear I’ll come after every single one of you!”

But what the security footage showed left them all in shock.

“This can’t be real!” the chubby guy shouted, his eyes wide. “There was definitely someone else in there! That’s the person who messed us up!”

Jerome stared at the screen, stunned. The footage clearly showed only the three of them.

“How is this possible? Wasn’t there someone else? The chubby guy kept rewinding and watching the video over and over. No matter how looked, it was always just the three of them.
