Reborn to Burn Them All novel Chapter 64

Chapter 64

Get her out of here. I don’t want to see her,Howard screamed, unable to bear it any longer. Everyone thought he was talking about Sophis,

However, Sophia didn’t move. She looked at Yvette. Did you hear that? He told you to get out.

Wette, feeling wronged, began to cry. She took a step forward. Howard?

With a loud bang, Howard grabbed a picture frame from the bedside table and threw it at Yvette. I said, get out.

The frame hit Wette right on the forehead. Although it didn’t draw blood, it left a big bump. Yvette was stunned.

Heather held her, looking worried. Howard, why did you hit Yvette? You just had a bad dream-

Get out. All of you, get out,Howard shouted, smashing everything he could reach. He looked like a madman.

Sophia raised an eyebrow, a cold smile playing on her lips. This is just the beginning, and you can’t take it already. How boring!, she thought. She yawned, turned her head, and noticed Sean staring at her.

Sophia blinked. What are you looking at, idiot?

Sean’s gaze was deep. Sophia, be careful what

Sophia rolled her eyes at him, her smile turning malici

Sean looked disgusted. I just saw you laughing.”

Although he had no evidence, he just felt that she was behind all this.

Do you think I’m scared? You idiot.

Sophia’s smile grew even brighter. I was born to laugh. If you don’t want to see it, you can poke your own eyes out. If you can’t do it, I can help.”

Sean stared at her intently. Are you gloating because Howard hit Yvette, or is his nightmare somehow connected to you?

Sophia grinned, clearly gloating. You can think whatever

You can’t do anything to me anyway.

After all she had been through, Sophia knew Jonathan well. Except for Yvette and Sean, the designated heir, everyone else in the Chandler family was expendable.

As long as it brought benefits to the Chandler family, Jonathan would tolerate it. Just like how he tolerated her because she brought him benefits.

Sean’s expression faltered. Sophia sneered, As the biggest beneficiary of the entire Chandler family, what gives you the right to lecture me?

Sean shook his head. If you don’t learn to hold back, you’ll eventually cause a disaster.

Sophia kicked him in the shin. Fucking hold back. You’ve reaped the benefits and still have the nerve to lecture me. I can’t stand people like you who act all high and mighty. I’ve wanted to punch you for a long time.”

One kick wasn’t enough for Sophia. She kicked him several more times before stopping. Sean was stunned by the first kick, and although he dodged the others, he couldn’t avoid them all.

Sophia, that’s enough,Sean said angrily, but it didn’t faze her.

How dare you lecture me?she retorted, and then slapped him across the face. The sound of the slap echoed loudly in the quiet night, even reverberating off the walls.

The slap left Sean stunned, Jonathan, and Heather all in shock.

Only Yvette looked pleased, covering her mouth to hide her grin. How could you hit Sean?

Sophia smiled coldly. What’s the problem with hitting him? If he dares to yap at me again, I’ll beat him to a pulp. Try me,she said, then sauntered back

to her room.

Sean stood there, still in a daze. Heather looked at Jonathan helplessly. Darling?

Jonathan patted her shoulder. Just endure it a little longer.

In just half a month, Sophia will be going back to school. Everything will be fine once she’s gone, Heather murmured to herself, but it didn’t help, Sho couldn’t fall asleep for the rest of the night.

She wanted to talk to Jonathan, but when she found him, he had already fallen asleep. She punched him a few times out of frustration, but he didn’t

wake up, which made her even angrier.

The next morning, Sophia descended the stairs in high spirits to have breakfast. By the time she finished eating, no one else had come down. Just as the was growing impatient, Heather appeared, haggard.

Sophia smiled brightly, propping her chin on her hand. Heather, are you so excited about giving me my allowance today that you couldn’t sleep?

Heather paused, asking instinctively, What allowance?

Sophia’s smile instantly vanished, replaced by a cold tone. Heather, have you already forgotten?

Heather’s eyes flickered. Lately, I’ve been a bit short on cash, so could we possibly—

No,Sophia said, narrowing her eyes with a mocking smile. You want to welsh on the debt? Fine, I’ll go to Jonathan.

Don’t,Heather quickly interjected. Sophia, next month is your grandmother’s birthday. I was planning to buy her a gift. How about the month after next? I promise I’ll give it to you then.

Sophia mocked. Her birthday has nothing to do with me. I’ve changed my mind. I don’t want it in installments. I want the full amount. If you don’t give it to me, I’ll go to Jonathan.

And then I’ll have Jonathan bring Mireille back. It’ll be so lively with the three of you living together. Just thinking about it makes me happy.”

Heather’s face turned pale with anger. How can you say such a thing?

Sophia retorted indignantly. What’s wrong with what I said? She’s here to join the family, not to break it apart.

Having another woman to help take care of Jonathan isn’t bad. It’ll be lively. You’re being overly sensitive at your age. No wonder Jonathan still loves Mireille after all these years.

She added, Heather, I feel sorry for you. Jonathan still has his first crush. If you’re not satisfied, you can go find your man. Wouldn’t that be perfect?
