Chapter 82
Chapter 82
Sophia thought, ‘Ever since my third cycle at whichever cycle it was when I wake up again, I just can’t wait to get rid of raita and wipe mut the Cata Chandler family‘
Right after the family ditiner, she had intentionally drugged everyone, seated all the doors and windows of the villa, poured gasoline all over, and det e on fire, burning them all alive.
Sophia had made sure Yvette was really dead. She had grabbed a kitchen knife and slit her throat. She thought, I still remember the feeling of her blood spraying on my face. That was so exciting.
‘Before the flames could even reach Yvette, she didn’t make it out of the front gate before she missed a step and fell to her death. Such a stupid way to die. Then Yvette woke up again. God bless her so much.
Sophia was angry. Yvette was still unconscious, so she stayed on high alert. ‘Screw it, might as well kill her now. This is my ninth cycle. What do have to lose?‘ she thought.
Sophia pushed the pillow over Yvette’s face, ready to suffocate her. Just as she pressed down hard, Yvette suddenly moved. “What are you doing?” Yvette asked, her voice rough but alert.
Yvette sat up fast, her face guarded, and she slapped the call button next to her bed. “Is that pillow trying to suffocate me?” she challenged.
Sophia curled her lip in annoyance and hit Yvette hard with the pillow. “So you knew, huh? Guess you were just pretending to be sick. You’re always full
of tricks.”
Yvette jerked back from the pillow hit, hitting her head on the headboard. Wincing in pain, she gave Sophia a guarded look, every muscle tight. “I’m awake now. Please leave. The doctors are coming,” she said sharply.
Sophia threw the pillow at Yvette with force. “You were in a coma forever, but the moment I show up, you suddenly wake up? No ‘thank you, just telling me to go? You ungrateful bitch.”
With a sneer, Sophia tilted her chin up and walked out of the hospital room. Only when the door shut did Yvette finally breathe out in relief. She rubbed her temples, a little confused. Then bits of her memories started coming back.
Yvette thought, ‘During those days in a coma, it felt like I had a really long, vivid dream. Everyone loved me and hated Sophia. I didn’t even have to ask; they took care of everything for me.
‘Sophia is different from how she was in my dream.‘
As Sophia left, she saw doctors and nurses rushing toward the room. She kept her face calm, but she noticed Yvette didn’t seem very different. ‘Need to watch her,’ she thought.
Sophia walked into Howard’s hospital room, wearing a sweet but dangerous smile as she delivered the news.
Sure enough, she saw Howard explode in anger, shouting, “Why won’t she just die? You should die too. All of you should die.”
Sophia punched him hard. With a mean smile, she sneered, “You should die. In fact, your whole damn family should just drop dead.”
“You’re just a useless loser,” Sophia added. “If you’re a real man, go kill her yourself. Are you too weak to fight that jinx?”
“You couldn’t even beat her before,” Sophia smiled. “Now that she’s awake, you’re in for a rough time. Just wait. You’ll be worse off than ever.”
Sophia just left the hospital when her phone rang. A strange number flashed on the screen, but she knew it was her high school teacher. “Sophia? This is Reese Cormack,” Reese said. “Are you free the day after tomorrow?”
Sophia frowned. This call didn’t happen in any of her previous lives. She kept her guard up. Out loud, she asked, “What’s up, Reese?”
Reese said, “School’s starting soon, and the class is planning a get–together at Brethmere Resort. If you’re free, we’d love for you to come.”

The place was where Howard’s fans were holding a team building event. “And it’s the day after tomorrow lost What a coincidence! Sophia theight
Sophia raised an eyebrow, intrigued. “I’ll be there. After hanging up, sive smiled slyly. Even without this gathering, she’d still go there.
Two days later, Sophia grabbed her bag and left happily, humming a tune. Half an hour later, she arrived at the Brethmere Pesort, where about thirty de her classmates were already there, sitting in small groups.
Everyone was in the hall, but the talk was all about Sophia.
“Reese said Sophia might come too. Not sure if that’s true though.”
“I always thought Sophia kept a low profile, but who knew she was rich? And her brother is a big star.”
“She was almost invisible. We were classmates for three years, and I still can’t remember her face. Can any of you?”
“Hold on–on the livestream, Sophia looked amazing, way prettier than our school beauty. Why was she so invisible before?”
“I only knew we had a top student in our class. I barely noticed her. If I hadn’t heard she was the best in STEM, I wouldn’t even remember her.”
“Hey, Violetta, wasn’t Sophia sitting right behind you? You should remember her, right?”
Violetta wore a flowery dress and let her long hair fall freely to her waist. Her looks weren’t stunning, but she looked kind and gentle.
Her bright smile made everyone happy, and her cheerful personality made her the most popular girl in class. Violetta, who was busy on her phone, just smiled when her name was called suddenly.
Violetta said, “Honestly, I’m just like everyone else. Even though
we sat close, we hardly ever talked.”
Eamon sneered, “Come on, why are you even asking about the Violetta? None of us remember her, so it’s not our fault. If she chose to stay low–key and didn’t stand out, that’s her choice, right?”
