At that moment, Shaun's face darkened as he gritted his teeth at Lincoln. "You heard him, Lincoln. Don't cause any more trouble, okay?"
Lincoln slowly got up, looking at Shaun and Ironhead with a saddened smile. "Fine. I won't make trouble. The Baxter family is yours to take. I only ask that you keep your father alive.
"Once you're done with what you need to do today, I'll go live with your father at the villa in the suburbs. From then on, I'll stay out of all of this. Are you satisfied now?"
With that, Lincoln left Shaun's room, filled with despair. His departing figure appeared defeated, frail, and devoid of life.
Shaun sighed and turned to Ironhead, saying, "You shouldn't have treated Lincoln that way. He controls a powerful force in Bellington's underworld. If you really push him too far, you won't be able to handle the consequences."
Ironhead laughed coldly. "But he's now like an old dog that's lost its bite, isn't he? Mr. Baxter, remember this—being soft will get you nowhere. You no longer need him, and his existence is only weighing you down.
"So, he either dies or leaves. There's no third option. I'm helping you. Do you understand?"
Shaun nodded and took a deep breath, forcing a smile as he said, "Well then, thank you, Mr. Ironhead. If not for your approach today, Lincoln might still be holding me back. It's almost time. Let's get ready to go."
Ironhead nodded and asked, "What about Nolan? There can't be any mistakes. If he notices something's wrong and escapes, it'll be a mess. We can't have that happening."
Shaun immediately agreed. "I'll call the people monitoring him right now and have them bring him straight over. Don't worry."
