No sooner had Blake finished speaking than the room came alive with murmurs.
Honestly, if Nolan could show the receipt and invoice, no one could argue the jewelry was fake. He didn't even know Blake when he bought the Crystal of Devotion.
Besides, no one had ever made a fuss or suspected that it was a counterfeit. This was more like a surprise inspection, and there was no chance for Nolan to fake anything.
Everyone turned to Nolan, watching closely to see if he could back it up with proof.
Nolan chuckled and said, "What a coincidence. I was actually planning to hand this receipt and invoice to Audrey today, so they're right here with me.
"Alright then. Here you go then. This should stop anyone from claiming that my Crystal of Devotion is fake. But honestly, even if I hand over the invoice, people will say whatever they want.
"People will believe what they want to believe. Even if it's the truth, they'll just think it's some kind of conspiracy. That's the way things are."
With that, he fished the invoice out of his pocket and handed it to Blake.
Blake flashed him a smile and said, "Norwich Group's seal is designed with anti-counterfeiting features, so it's impossible to replicate it."
He examined the invoice and grinned. "You guys might doubt me if I were to verify this. So, let's have Mr. Hance check them out instead. I'm sure you'll trust him."
