The price of betrayal (Jack and Ashley) novel Chapter 365

After chatting for a while, Megan hung up the phone, a mocking smile appearing at the corner of her lips.

"Parasites. If I didn't need you to play along with me in this little show, would I have to be so polite to you idiots? Nolan is unlucky to have siblings like you. He's been tolerant back then, but will he still tolerate it now? Heh."

She seemed to imagine the scene where Nolan would confront his biological brother, sister, and even his parents, and her smile grew more excited.

At that moment, Jeanne arrived at Nolan's house, looking lost and distraught. However, the first thing she saw was Kara sitting at the door of Nolan's home, as though she had been waiting there for a long time.

"Kara, what are you doing here?" She furrowed her brows.

Kara didn't show enthusiasm upon seeing Jeanne and replied coldly, "I'm waiting for Nolan to return. What about you? Are you here to see him? You're not sneaking behind Megan's back to see Nolan, are you?"

Jeanne frowned and said, "Let's not mock each other. Kara, are you here to ask him for forgiveness? Where's your sister? It's not sincere if she doesn't come."

Kara sneered. "There's no need for my sister to step in. I'm enough on my own. Jeanne, if you think you can mock my sister, you're mistaken. As long as she is willing, Nolan will definitely forgive her, and they'll get along again. Hmph!"

Jeanne chuckled in response. "Whatever you say. Are you going to keep waiting?"

Kara looked at her with some dissatisfaction and said, "Yes, I am. So what?"

Jeanne sighed and shook her head. "You might as well stop since you've waited for quite some time. Nolan might have already moved out."

Kara was immediately taken aback. "Moved out? Where did he move to? Do you know something?"
