Megan looked at Wayne and Melody and quickly said with a smile, "Dad, Mom, don't bother about them."
However, Audrey looked at Nolan's parents and asked shyly, "Mr. and Mrs. Greene, do you still remember me? I'm Audrey Weiss."
As soon as she said that, Nolan's parents were stunned. Then, they seemed to have recalled something and replied happily, "You're Audrey. Let's come in.
"Megan, isn't this your best friend? Invite her in. Quick."
Upon hearing that, Megan couldn't say much and merely smiled at Audrey. "Okay. Come in then."
Then, she walked up to Audrey and whispered harshly, "Audrey, you'd better mind your words!"
Audrey ignored her. She went into the living room and sat down.
"Mr. and Mrs. Greene, I came in a hurry and forgot to bring you gifts. Please don't be mad."
Grinning, Nolan's parents shook their heads and replied, "You don't have to bring us gifts. We're glad enough that you're here to visit us.
"Okay. We'd better not interfere with the young people's affairs. You can go ahead and talk." With that, Wayne and Melody returned to their room.
Just then, Audrey looked at Megan and questioned coldly, "Where's Nolan? I need to talk to him about something."
Megan sneered. "Nolan doesn't want to see you."
Kara was infuriated in an instant and warned angrily, "Megan, if you keep this going, I'm going to scream. Don't blame me for saying something nasty in front of Nolan's parents."
