In Megan's villa in Bellington, Wayne and Melody didn't know whether it was because they weren't used to sleeping there or if waking up early had become a habit, but they woke up early in the morning.
Melody went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.
Liana was up as well. Tyler was the only one who was still sound asleep, and he still reeked of alcohol.
At around seven in the morning, Megan woke up, her expression a mix of unpleasantness and grievance.
When Melody saw Megan, she said hurriedly, "Megan, you're up! Wash your face and have breakfast. Where's Nolan? Go wake him up as well."
When Megan heard Nolan's name, it seemed as if she couldn't control her emotions anymore and immediately covered her face, choking up.
"Mom, Dad, Nolan didn't come back last night. It seems he hasn't forgiven me yet, because why didn't he come back otherwise?"
Upon hearing this, Melody quickly went to comfort Megan.
Wayne once again turned angry.
"That ingrate! Did he not listen to what I said? What was he doing all night outside? Call him. I want to know what he's up to."
Megan choked up, "I've tried, but his phone is turned off. Mom, Dad, please don't make things hard for Nolan. It's my fault that I can't be your daughter-in-law. Please don't be angry. H-He just hates me."
After saying this, Megan cried even harder.
