"Kneeling while apologizing is fine, but forgiving you? Forget it. Megan, you've disappointed me time and time again."
With that, Nolan left the room.
Despite not sleeping the entire night, he was still full of energy.
The Eternal Sovereign Technique had reached a small success, which transformed his physical constitution to an extraordinary degree, so much so that it could only be described as miraculous.
But no matter how much his physical condition changed or strengthened, his mind remained that of a human. All the emotions that should exist were still there for Nolan.
Nolan didn't return to Misty Hill but instead went to the Baxter residence.
The memorial day was something his parents had been deeply concerned about, so Nolan had to take it seriously. They should provide his parents the dignity and respect deserved.
Even though he harbored grievances against his father, Wayne was still his father. He was just misled.
When everything was eventually revealed, Wayne would come to understand how wrong and absurd his actions had been.
Upon learning that Nolan had arrived at the Baxter residence, Archie and Lincoln immediately went to the front gate to greet him.
When Nolan got out of the car, looking worn yet composed, Archie quickly spoke up. "Mr. Greene, we've arranged and prepared everything you've instructed us to do. Is there anything else you need us to do? Considering you came here personally, there must be something important."
Nolan shook his head and replied, "I'm in a bad mood. I just returned from Eastland, and I don't feel like going to Misty Hill. I came here to rest for a bit and discuss some matters."
Hearing that Nolan came back from Eastland, Archie and Lincoln froze momentarily.
