The price of betrayal (Jack and Ashley) novel Chapter 436

Niall was just too kind for his own good.

"Niall, I won't say anything more. But let me ask you one thing—is this really the life that you want? I remember you used to have dreams. Do you still have them now? Are you really willing to sacrifice everything for a woman like Sharon?"

Niall shook his head and said, "Nolan, there are some things you just don't know. Our family is indebted to Sharon. Mom wouldn't still be with us if Sharon hadn't saved her life back then. This alone is reason enough for me to love and protect her. So, please don't say anything more. This is all a misunderstanding."

Misunderstanding? Nolan scoffed. Sharon saved Melody? That was the only real misunderstanding, and a huge one at that. Nolan would have gladly slapped himself if what happened that day was not set up by Sharon.

However, Nolan had uncovered the truth, including the witnesses and evidence needed to back it up. And soon, they would all be revealed.

Nolan sighed softly and looked at his older brother. "Niall, let me ask you something. What would you do if you found out your wife has been lying to you all along? What if the baby she's carrying isn't even yours? And what if she's harmed our entire family?"

A flash of ruthlessness crossed Niall's eyes. "If it's really as you said, then I'll personally kill her myself," he shouted angrily.

Sharon exploded in anger as soon as those words left Niall's lips. She started punching and kicking him. "Who did you say you're going to kill? Huh? Who?"

"Sharon Peach, I gave you a chance just now. From now on, there will be no more," said Nolan in a deep voice.
