Even if Fang was a giant of the underworld, he couldn't just go around hitting people—especially not Harold's grandson. After all, wasn't he here to pay his respects to Harold?
"You filthy piece of trash! How dare you insult Mr. Greene! All of you are asking for death!"
After speaking, Fang disregarded everything else. He quickly rushed to the stage and went straight to Nolan. Despite the filthy vegetable leaves covering Nolan's body, he showed no sign of disgust. Without hesitation, he began to clean them off by hand.
His eyes were bloodshot with intense fury as he said, "Mr. Greene, I apologize for our delay and for the suffering you've endured. Rest assured, I will make sure to eliminate all of them today to avenge you."
As he spoke, tears threatened to spill from his eyes. Anyone who didn't know better might have mistaken Nolan for Fang's real father. This scene, once again, left everyone in stunned silence.
Nolan, however, remained calm as he spoke, "You're already a giant in the Eastern State underworld. Doing something like this will only make people laugh at you."
Hearing this, Fang immediately retorted, "Let them laugh if they want. At worst, I'll smash their mouths. Besides, I'm no giant. Without you, Mr. Greene, I'm nothing. I'm just your dog, and I always will be!"
"That's enough. I'll just change into a different set of clothes," Nolan said lightly.
With a wave of his hand, over a dozen men in suits seemed to materialize from thin air and had the stage surrounded. Then, they respectfully offered Nolan clean water and a fresh set of clothes.
At this moment, the only ones truly stunned and at a loss were those present—except for Nolan. Even his family was left completely unprepared for such a sudden turn of events.
