At that moment, a security guard approached Megan and Jeanne and said calmly, "Mr. Greene is waiting for you. Follow me."
Hearing this, Megan and Jeanne immediately led their entourage and followed him.
They walked until they reached the lakeside, where the security guard spoke again, his tone still indifferent. "Mr. Greene is on the island in the middle of the lake. Are all of you planning to go over?"
Megan and Jeanne were too stunned to express any opinions at this point.
The vast estate was filled with breathtaking views at every turn, and now there was even an island in the middle of this enormous lake. The thought of living there, surrounded by such tranquility, was beyond anything they could have imagined.
"I never realized Nolan knew how to enjoy life like this. Damn it, why didn't I see this before? Of course, we're all going. If Nolan tries anything against us, we'll need people to protect us."
The security guard chuckled upon hearing Megan's words.
"Apologies, but if Mr. Greene truly intended to harm you, do you really think the people you brought could protect you?"
His tone and expression were filled with disdain, making it clear he didn't consider Megan's entourage worth any serious attention.
The bodyguards Megan had brought with her each felt a sense of indignation at the security guard's words. However, ever since they had entered Misty Hill, they had remained silent, saying nothing.
It was clear they weren't foolish—they understood that someone who could own such an estate was a figure they couldn't afford to offend.
