Fang's eyes burned with icy murderous intent as he said coldly, "Let you go? If I let you go, then who will give Lense justice? He's been my friend for so many years, and yet I've failed to protect him. But for every bit of suffering he's endured, I'll make sure you traitors pay back tenfold—no, a hundredfold!

"You didn't hurt him? If it weren't for the betrayal of people like you, Lense would never have been captured so easily! If we'd just had a little more time, no one could have touched him! It's because of you wretched traitors—you—that this happened!"

As the words left his mouth, Fang tore out another one of Tyson's fingernails without hesitation.

In no time, all five fingernails on Tyson's hand had been completely pulled out. By now, Tyson had passed out from sheer agony.

A glint of madness flashed in Fang's eyes as he punched Tyson squarely in the face. "Pour a bucket of water over him to wake him up!" he roared furiously. "Don't let him pass out without my permission! And give him an adrenaline shot! This bastard is going to feel every bit of pain while he's still alive. Dying isn't an option for him!"

Thus, Tyson was forced to remain conscious.

"Stop torturing me! It was Mr. Norberg! He's the one who took Mr. Gould! If you've got the guts, go after Mr. Norberg instead! Torturing me says nothing about your ability at all! And let me tell you, if Mr. Norberg finds out how you've treated me, he won't let you off!

"He'll avenge me! You people have no idea how terrifying Mr. Norberg truly is. Stop now while you still can, or else Mr. Norberg will kill every last one of you!"

At this point, Tyson was utterly helpless, calling out for a savior who would never come. Pleading was futile, and the only card he had left to play was a desperate threat—using the power and fearsome reputation of Owen to try and intimidate Fang and his men into showing restraint, to perhaps lessen his suffering.
