"You're utterly ignorant—to an almost unbelievable degree," said Scarlet.
Tyson didn't dare respond.
Scarlet glanced at the time before settling onto the sofa. "There's about an hour left before Mr. Greene arrives in Eastland. Fang, get things done cleanly and efficiently. Don't give Mr. Greene anything to complain about, understand?"
Fang clenched his jaw and nodded firmly. "Yes, Mr. Scarlet. I know what needs to be done, and I'll handle it personally."
With that, Fang turned to leave again.
By now, a light rain had started falling. Today, Eastland was destined to be anything but peaceful.
The president of Holcomb Group, Harvey, had just finished a meeting. Ready to relax for a while, he was on his way back to his club under the escort of bodyguards.
As he was leaving, he received a call from Owen.
On the call, Owen clearly warned him that Tyson and the others from Myth Group had vanished without a trace and were likely kidnapped. It was highly suspected to be an act of revenge targeted at them and advised Harvey to be cautious.
However, Harvey merely laughed it off, not taking it seriously at all.
In his moment of triumph, Harvey felt as though the entire Eastland was under his control. At times like this, any warnings seemed pointless to him.
However, as Harvey's convoy reached a desolate stretch of road, four vans suddenly blocked their path. From the vans emerged more than 20 men armed with machetes. Without hesitation, they attacked Harvey's bodyguards, leaving them gravely injured.
