It wasn't an outright slaughter, as the security personnel Duane had hired were indeed highly trained.
However, despite their training, they were visibly shaken in the face of such a brutal and blood-soaked confrontation. These were not individuals accustomed to the underworld. Many had taken up this line of work simply to earn a living; they didn't sign up to throw their lives away.
So, as one security personnel after another had their arms severed or fell to the ground clutching their stomachs in agony, and as the ground turned into a river of blood, fear began to take over.
One by one, the security personnel started retreating, no longer daring to continue the fight. In just a few minutes of battle, dozens of security ppersonnellay on the ground, writhing in pain and screaming in despair.
Fang had personally joined the fight, killing with wild abandon, his body already drenched in blood.
When the security personnel finally surrendered and threw down their weapons, Fang strode forward and pressed a bloodied sword against Duane's neck.
"Duane, do you have anything left to say? I told you before—hand Mr. Preston over, but you refused and even dared to fight back. So, tell me, do you regret it now?"
Fear flashed in Duane's eyes, but he remained defiant as he stared at Fang.
"So what if you've won for now? You've captured so many people—you won't have a good end. Mr. Norberg and the others will never let you go. If you're smart, you'll stop now while there's still time. Otherwise, you'll definitely regret it."
