The price of betrayal (Jack and Ashley) novel Chapter 567

Scarlet seemed to take great interest in teasing Fang. Even at a time like this, he was still toying with him. Yet, no matter how frustrated he might have been, didn't dare to lose his temper.

Looking at the phone, Fang chuckled coldly and said, "You bastard, I was willing to have a civil conversation, and you dared to threaten me? Fine, let's see who ends up dead. Mr. Geoffrey, if you don't want your family to be killed off one by one, remember my words—everyone must kneel at the gate and beg for forgiveness. Do it now."

With that, he ended the call. He then turned toward Nolan and said, "Mr. Greene, the Norbergs claim they have two Tiger Ranking powerhouses. But who knows whether that's true."

Nolan looked at Fang and nodded. "It might be true. The Norbergs probably wouldn't joke about something like this." After speaking, he suddenly chuckled, as if finding the situation rather amusing.

"No wonder the Norbergs are so confident. It turns out they have such a powerful card to play. Two Tiger Ranking powerhouses, eh? That's nothing to scoff at, indeed. But then again, who says we don't have powerhouses on our side as well?"

Nolan turned his gaze toward Scarlet.

At that moment, realization finally dawned on Fang. He quickly turned to Scarlet and asked, "Mr. Scarlet, are you also a Tiger Ranking powerhouse?"

Scarlet shook his head. "I haven't been in the country for the past few years, so I've had very few opportunities to take action. Naturally, I'm not on the list. However, it's not that I look down on the Tiger Ranking powerhouses, but as long as the Norbergs' Tiger Ranking members aren't among the top ten, I shouldn't have any trouble dealing with them."

His tone was filled with pride, a clear reflection of his absolute confidence in his own strength.

Nolan nodded and said, "With your strength, you could easily rank near the top of the Tiger Ranking. Perhaps this is the perfect opportunity for you to make your debut. Scarlet, I'm giving you permission to go all out."
