When William finally spotted Aiden, the latter was already wrapping an arm around Angelina's waist. A figure flew in one direction and slammed heavily onto the floor a distance away, causing an uproar among the crowd.

"Does it hurt?" Aiden asked gently while he glanced at Angelina's swollen face, his eyes filled with pity.

"No." Angelina shook her head lightly. This was her first time feeling such warmth in her heart.

The unhappiness from their previous argument was completely gone.

"Is this your sister?" Just then, William stepped forward and asked Aiden with a smile.

"Hmph!" Aiden snorted. Because of what happened to Angelina, he wasn't in the mood to be nice to William.

William let out a dry laugh, feeling sheepish. He never expected someone to cause trouble at a banquet hosted by the Webb Family and even mess with his savior.

"That man was being unreasonable. Angelina said that she wasn't interested in him, but he still insisted on feeling her up." Just then, Linda spoke up.

Linda had walked over to them shortly before. At such gatherings, the status-obsessed woman didn't miss a chance to establish connections. Every time she met a new person, she would tell them that her son-in-law was the Webb Family's benefactor, and the person would always humor her. She even promoted their business on the side and was happily occupied the entire night.

Aiden smiled coldly as he took a step forward. Meanwhile, the man was already struggling to get up. Blood trickled from the corner of his lips, and the severe pain in his chest had completely woken him up.

He looked at Aiden with a frightening look on his face, his eyes bloodshot. "In all of Keyland, you are the first person who has dared to hit me. Don't you know who I am? I'm James Chapman!" James glared at Aiden coldly as he spoke.

At that, exclamations sounded throughout the venue. "That's the young master of the Chapman Family," someone whispered. The Chapman Family was prominent as well, or the people wouldn't have spoken in such hushed tones.

"I don't care who you are. Once you touch my woman, you're done for," Aiden retorted coldly.

He had seen too many prominent and wealthy families. Who could do anything about him now?

William frowned, for things would get a little troublesome if the playboy from the Chapman Family was involved.

From behind, Angelina glanced at Aiden. His woman? she thought.

As William grabbed onto Aiden's arm, he said, "James, he's a good friend as well as my savior."

Aiden had saved his life, so he couldn't just stand by and watch.

Just then, a series of soft coughs echoed throughout the venue as Old Mr. Webb appeared. He looked at Aiden with a complicated expression. He already knew of Aiden's identity and the fact that Aiden had married Angelina's family.

He looked down on the man slightly, but Aiden was the Webb Family's benefactor, and his medical skills were worthy of establishing a good relationship with him. After all, no one could guarantee that they wouldn't get sick.

However, Aiden seemed to have acted a little too wild earlier. Old Mr. Webb now had to decide between Aiden and the Chapman Family. As the head of the Webb Family, he had to consider these issues.

He didn't speak up, for he wanted to hear what James had to say.

"William, save your breath. No matter who it is, as long as they hit me, they'll have to pay for it. Boy, if you live to see tomorrow, I'll write my name backward," James said with a sneer.

The next moment, he took out his phone and glanced coldly at William. "Jordan, someone hit me at the Webb Residence," James said into the phone.

Old Mr. Webb frowned when he heard that. The Chapman Family wasn't powerful enough to suppress the Webb Family, but Old Mr. Webb was wary of the person backing James.

"The Webb Family will take responsibility for this incident, James. How do you propose we compensate you?" Just then, William spoke up coldly.

Aiden hadn't spoken a word through it all. He wisely awaited Old Mr. Webb's reaction to judge whether the Webb Family was a worthy partner or not.

"Lucas, take William back to his room." At this moment, Old Mr. Webb spoke in a low voice instead.

When Aiden heard that, the smile on his face suddenly turned playful.
