After Linda entered the room, she immediately sat on Angelina's bed. She waited for Angelina to shut the door before saying, "Do you really trust him, that he's going to start up a medical center? Are you really going to withdraw your money to support him? I'm telling you right now, I disapprove! If that good-for-nothing comes over to seek you for money tomorrow morning, you must say no to him!"
Meanwhile, Angelina looked at her mother and said, "Mom, this is a personal matter."
"What do you mean it's a personal matter? You've already spent so much money on that useless man!" Linda looked all disgusted when she said this.
"But Mom, that wasn't what you said yesterday!" Angelina frowned.
"Yesterday? That was because I was tricked by him yesterday!" Linda had a regretful look on her face. "It's been two days, but both the Webbs and the Thatchers—and even that sly one from the Harper Family—have not come over to see that good-for-nothing. I reckon that from now on, they won't bother to have anything to do with him either! Hmph! For a moment there, I was looking forward to things, but turns out I was excited about nothing!" she huffed.
"Do you have anything else to say?" Angelina asked, frowning.
"No, that's all. I just wanted to forbid you from giving Aiden money." After Linda said that, she looked at Angelina as if the latter was an imbecile.
The following morning, Aiden continued to leave the house as soon as dawn broke.
Along the way to work, he called Gina and told her he was on the way to the medical center.
Gina responded affirmatively and then hung up the phone. Next, she got out of bed and freshened up.
After Gina walked out of the front door, Samuel Harper, Gina's grandfather, asked his caretaker in surprise, "Mrs. Morton, has Gina been waking up so early for the past few days?"
"Yes, Old Mr. Harper." Mrs. Morton smiled and said, "Every day after receiving a phone call, she would get out of bed immediately."
"A phone call?" Samuel was perplexed.
"Yes. For the past two days, Miss Gina received a phone call every morning and was roused by that. However, Miss Gina behaved quite strangely too. Normally, she would continue sleeping and only get out of bed when she was fully awake, even after answering a phone call. But for the past few days, she got out of bed as soon as the phone went off!" Mrs. Morton said with a smile.
As Samuel tried to figure out what was happening, Gina was already on her way to the medical center.
When Aiden arrived, the grandfather and granddaughter duo were already waiting for him there.
Aiden spoke to Reece for some time before Gina arrived.
"Sir, I've got a request that I hope you will approve." After they completed the procedures, Reece looked at Aiden and said with a melancholic look on his face.
"What is it?" Aiden nodded and indicated for Reece to speak.
"Could you retain the name of the place and not remove the signboard of 'Eternal Youth'?" Reece blushed as he spoke.
"No." As soon as Aiden heard that, he shook his head gently, but his voice was firm and unwavering.
"I suppose that was too presumptuous of me!" Reece heaved a slight sigh.
There was a forlorn look in his eyes as he looked at the sign 'Eternal Youth.' He clearly couldn't bear to let go.
"Retaining my grandpa's signboard showing 'Eternal Youth' would definitely be beneficial for you in gaining more customers. Do you know how popular 'Eternal Youth' is in Keyland?" The young girl noticed her grandpa's dejected expression and couldn't help snorting coldly. She glared at Aiden angrily. In her eyes, Aiden was too cold and unfeeling.
"I have to change the signboard. It's not because I don't want to use it, but it would be inconvenient for me to carry out my plans in the future!" Aiden looked at Reece and said calmly.
At that moment, there was a resolute look in Aiden's eyes. Back then, the Finnegan Family had kicked him out of the family home without finding out what had happened. They didn't care whether he would survive. Furthermore, Aiden suspected that the matter back then was perhaps a plot entirely orchestrated by the Finnegan Family to target him.
"Sir, I've got another request," Reece voiced out again.
In response, Aiden turned to look at Reece with a half-smile. He seems to have a lot of requests.
At that moment, Gina looked at Helena and was quite amused. This young girl here hasn't realized the efforts her grandpa has put in for her sake. Subsequently, Gina turned to look at Aiden. "So, what's the new name for your medical center? I'll arrange for the signboard to be made."
