Joshua looked menacing. Though terrified, Colin still insisted that he had nothing to do with this and that it was all an accident.
Daniel quite liked his stubbornness.
He dragged Susan over to Colin's side and questioned, "What exactly did you do?"
Susan trembled violently. Before she could even open her mouth, Colin shot her a fierce look.
Right now, as long as they stuck to the claim that this was just an accident, they would be fine. They would even be protected. But if they confessed, things would have been entirely different.
"Look into my eyes!" Daniel ordered Susan.
Susan instinctively lifted her head and looked at Daniel.
Her previously panicked expression suddenly became blank.
"Colin told me to do everything! He said the child who recently matched with Emma needed Emma's corneas urgently, so he ordered me to inject her with a fake death drug and then take her away!"
Susan's expression crumbled as she spoke; she nearly broke down. "I really don't know anything else!"
Colin instantly turned deathly pale.
It was over! He was doomed.
Joshua clenched his fists so tightly that they cracked before slamming a punch into Colin's right leg!
"You monster!" Joshua roared, his eyes locked onto Colin.
Colin let out a pained cry. "I didn't want to either! I really didn't!"
Daniel walked over to him.
"I thought corrupt cultivators have no ethics, but you're worse than them!"
Daniel stepped on Colin's hand. "Who's behind all of this?"
Unable to withstand the pain, Colin confessed, "It's the Aurora Foundation! I admit I took some money and did this for them! But I had no choice! I was forced!"
"Aurora Foundation?" Daniel frowned.
