Betrayed, But Not Defeated novel Chapter 199

Omari raised an eyebrow in slight surprise. "You're quite confident, Mr. Ashcroft."

Daniel flicked his fingers, and a burst of energy shot straight into Omari's waist. His pupils shrank abruptly.

The blade in his hands shattered instantly as its fragments clattered to the ground.

Daniel chuckled lightly. "Chop off one of your arms, and I'll let you go."

"You brat! You'd better not be that arrogant!" The young man sitting in the car pushed open the door and stepped out to glare at Daniel with fury.

Daniel raised an eyebrow. "One of your dogs?"

"Daniel!" The young man's expression darkened at his words as he glared at Daniel with a venomous look.

Before he could say another word, Daniel raised his hand to send a slap over.

The young man was sent sprawling to the ground and clutching his face in shock. His eyes were filled with disbelief.

"You'd best shut up. Otherwise, I can't guarantee you will be able to speak next time." With that, Daniel turned his gaze to Omari.

The latter's face was grim and caught in hesitation. Daniel's strength far exceeded his expectations, and the countermeasures he'd prepared seemed utterly useless.

"So, will you do it, or shall I do it for you?" Daniel asked with amusement.

Omari remained silent, and that was when a flash of lightning lit up the sky.

"Is this what you were relying on tonight?" Daniel smirked. Two figures had suddenly appeared behind him.

"Die, Daniel!"

"Here comes a greeting from Shadowspire Syndicate!"

Cold laughter rang out. But just as their blades were about to pierce through Daniel's body, his figure vanished.

"Impossible!"
