Betrayed, But Not Defeated novel Chapter 200

Daniel stood tall looking down at the young man. Just his gaze was enough to force the latter into breaking down.

"Please don't kill me! I'll give you whatever you want as long as you spare my life!" The young man was in tears as he trembled and dared not meet Daniel's eyes.

Daniel chuckled. "Get lost."

The young man immediately scrambled into the car, and despite his excruciating pain, Omari forced himself to stand and shut the car door.

Moments later, the convoy departed.

Daniel did not stop them and watched the retreating vehicles with a playful glint in his eyes.

"The big fish is gone, but the rest of you aren't as lucky." With that, he turned sharply, and his figure vanished into the rain like a phantom.

Those who'd been watching the show suddenly realized things were taking a dangerous turn, but they were too late by the time they decided to flee.

Ernest's face darkened as Daniel appeared before him. He hadn't expected the latter to come straight for them.

"I consider myself a tolerant person, but I have my limits. Did you think I wouldn't kill you?" Daniel asked and smirked.

A shiver ran through Ernest's spine. He'd just witnessed Daniel's sheer power firsthand, and this was a force beyond anything they could resist.

Regret filled his heart as he announced, "From now on, I will not interfere in matters between you and the Crane family."

Daniel shook his head. "You still don't get it."

The Crane family? If he'd cared about the Crane family, he wouldn't have killed Rowan so casually. The fact Ernest was still thinking about family matters at this point proved his ignorance.

"Don't—" Hector's voice sounded from the distance.

With a simple flick of Daniel's hands, Ernest's eyes widened in disbelief as his body slowly collapsed to the ground.

Hector ran toward him in the heavy rain. His entire body was drenched and looked completely disheveled.
