"Of course!" William nodded with a smile.
Only the elders within the Keaton family knew about William's breakthrough. Willow, who had been long estranged from the family, was naturally unaware. So, she was visibly shocked to see her father now.
When she noticed the people behind William, Willow realized something was amiss and couldn't help but frown. "Dad, what's the meaning of this?"
William chuckled and walked over to the window. "I'm getting old."
Willow's pupils shrank sharply when she heard that. Then, she stared at William in utter disbelief.
William slowly turned around. "What's the matter? You look like you're afraid of me." He then sighed before continuing, "You used to cling to me all the time when you were little."
"What exactly do you want?" Willow trembled slightly in an attempt to suppress her anger.
"Riverston Group has always been part of our family's assets. You've worked hard all these years, and as your father, it pains me to see you so exhausted," William said, his expression one of supposed fatherly affection.
He might have sounded concerned, but in reality, he was here to seize power. And there was no way Willow did not see right through him.
"I won't allow it! I won't stand by and watch you push Riverston Group into ruin!" Willow shouted.
William, however, was unfazed.
In the past, Willow held the Keaton family's lifeline in her hands. After all, only with money could one purchase the necessary resources for cultivation. This meant that even William had to tread carefully around his daughter.
But now, things were different. He had broken through!
At this thought, William softened his expression. "Push it into ruin? Willow, you do have a sharp business mind, but you've underestimated the power of a cultivator."
As he spoke, a powerful energy emanated from William and charged straight toward Willow. She was forced back instantly, driven out of her seat.
