Jennifer remained silent for a moment before letting out a cold scoff. "You think I'd believe you?"
"Oh, Ms. Walsh. We're not just ordinary people, you know."
Right after she heard those words, Jennifer felt the bag covering her head disintegrate in an instant.
She lifted her gaze—only to be met with the most otherworldly, enchanting face she had ever seen.
Jennifer had always considered herself a stunning beauty, but compared to the woman standing before her, she felt utterly outmatched.
The woman's figure was voluptuous and mesmerizing, her aura almost intoxicating. Even as a woman, Jennifer felt her cheeks flush just looking at her.
That strange reaction immediately snapped her back to reality. "You—!"
"Oh? Not bad. You actually sensed my charm? You might be a promising talent after all."
The woman walked up to Jennifer with a smile, then lifted Jennifer's chin with a finger.
She studied Jennifer's features with a scrutinizing gaze before narrowing her eyes. "Wonderful. Your face, your body—both are top-tier. And best of all, you're untouched and untrained…
She sighed, then added, "You silly girl. You can't conquer a man with those methods of yours."
Having said that, the woman exhaled a soft, pink mist right into Jennifer's face.
Jennifer's eyes widened in shock after inhaling it, staring at the woman in disbelief. However, before she could do anything else, she passed out.
"Take her away. I didn't expect to find such a perfect candidate here."
The woman chuckled after seeing Jennifer falling unconscious, then turned her gaze to the abandoned building in the distance where Daniel was still locked in combat with Nyx.
"Daniel Ashcroft… How interesting. To think there's someone like him in Qranross. It's no wonder so many people have been drawn here!"
As she said that, she turned around to glance at her leaving subordinates.
The wind lifted her delicate pink veil, revealing her soft features. With an otherworldly flexibility, her waist swayed gracefully, and with a trail of melodious laughter, she vanished into the night.
