Mason was forced to remain composed while dealing with an undesirable situation, which annoyed him to no end.
Not giving him a chance to speak, Charlene walked out.
Mason narrowed his eyes as he gripped the wine glass until his fingers turned white. "Your arrogance has piqued my interest, woman!"
The socialites watching from afar couldn't help but stare with wide eyes.
"What's going on? Charlene, that shameless woman, left Mr. Keaton by himself?"
"What's the Geller family planning? Is the matchmaking only a rumor?"
With this situation as an opening, these socialites wanted to make a move competitively.
If they could get close to Mason, it might even benefit their entire family.
Finally, someone couldn't hold back any longer and took the lead.
The appearance of these socialites eased Mason's embarrassment, and as the "gentlemanly" Mr. Keaton he was known for, Mason received these people warmly.
Charlene, of course, knew her actions would infuriate Mason.
But right now, all she could think about was Daniel.
"Ugh! That damned guy!" Charlene stamped her foot and spat.
"Which damned guy made you so angry, Ms. Geller? As your assistant, I can't just stand by!" Daniel's voice came from behind her.
Charlene looked up and couldn't help but beam brightly.
Daniel had dressed up. His suit was perfectly fitted, and combined with his strong facial features, he was the very image of a robust, handsome man.
In this aspect, Mason couldn't compare to him.
"Where's Mr. Geller Senior?" Daniel asked as he handed Charlene the gift he had chosen.
