Daniel didn't bother explaining further. He turned to Bianca and said, "Go on. Tell me what's going on."
Her nerves were on edge, and though she struggled to find a way out, the words spilled out regardless. "We heard Jennifer was willing to pay a lot to hire someone to do hypnosis, so I came here."
Dana chimed in, "Same here. According to some psychological theories, seeing something from your past might help bring you back to the way you were before."
"And what else?" Daniel asked as he fiddled with the poker card.
"I also heard Jennifer's company recently received a large sum of money," Dana admitted bluntly. "I've been losing big in the southeast, so I figured I'd con some of it out of her."
"We had everything planned," Bianca revealed. "If we couldn't hypnotize you, we'd wait for you to storm off. Then we'd kidnap Jennifer and force her to transfer the money to us."
Daniel grinned as he listened. "Keep going. Don't stop now."
"We've already rented a warehouse in Qranross, where we plan to take her. We even hired some thugs. If she refuses to cooperate, we'll make sure she experiences 'pleasures' she won't forget…"
These two women were every bit as vicious as Jennifer.
Daniel turned to look at Jennifer.
At that moment, she was on the verge of collapse. The people she had spent a fortune to hire had been targeting her all along. The sheer betrayal was enough to drive her to the brink of madness. When Dana mentioned those so-called pleasures, Jennifer shuddered.
"You're all insane! Every last one of you!" Jennifer snapped. She grabbed a nearby flowerpot and hurled it at Bianca.
The pot shattered, and Bianca fell to the ground with blood all over her face.
