Daniel parked the car in front of the villa.
As he looked at the familiar building, his expression turned cold. This place held too many bitter memories, especially the humiliation Jennifer had subjected him to—a memory he would never shake off.
Daniel pushed open the door and stepped inside. It was clear Jennifer had prepared for his arrival. Hanging in the entryway was the same chain that had once been wrapped around his neck.
He paused briefly and sneered before heading toward the living room. Everything about the place felt so familiar. He walked straight to the poker table.
"Daniel." Charlene looked at him with a puzzled expression.
He nodded at her, then turned his gaze to Jennifer.
Jennifer raised her head to meet his eyes but quickly turned away to look at Dana and Bianca.
Dana suddenly screamed, and her face turned pallid.
Bianca, who had remained silent until then, raised her hand and commanded, "Look at me!"
Daniel turned toward her.
With a flick of her wrist, the pendant slipped from her hand and swayed gently.
"Hypnosis?" Daniel scoffed.
Bianca's expression tightened with shock. "Keep your eyes on it!" Her voice carried an unmistakable authority, which made it clear she was no ordinary woman.
As the pendant swayed, sweat beads began to form on her forehead. "Bring me the items he's used before!" she ordered.
