A Wedding Night Gone Terribly Wrong novel Chapter 135

At the Kaleidoscope restaurant.

Larissa glared resentfully at Private Room 6.

Seth and Annelise were over there, brought in by Celeste.

"So annoying! There are so many restaurants in Kingsbridge, why couldn't they go somewhere else? They just had to cram in here with us."

She was furious.

Today was Shelly's birthday.

She and her sister had been preparing for it since last week. They had meticulously planned a birthday surprise for her and had even gotten a thousand dollars from their mother to buy a gift. They wanted to celebrate it grandly.

Her mother had told them that doing this would show the whole family's respect and affection for her.

Because Shelly was their uncle's woman, their true aunt. The woman who would join the Adams family, give their uncle babies, serve their grandparents, and take care of the three of them—a very, very important family member.

Their uncle had originally planned to take Shelly to an ancient city tower for her birthday and watch a Tang Dynasty dance performance in the evening.

But Shelly hadn't thought about herself at all. Considering the two sisters were just children, she had proactively suggested the family restaurant.

Shelly was so wonderful. She sacrificed her own desires and gave everything for them.

But! Seth and Annelise just had to show up.

They ruined the beautiful time Shelly had arranged for them.

People who shouldn't be here were here, completely ruining their mood.

Demi was also angry, her little mouth pouting.

"If I had known we'd run into people we didn't like, we would have called Winifred in advance and told her not to bring her kids."

Winifred had done so many wrong things. She had been married and had children with another man. Knowing she owed their deeply devoted uncle, she had always acted cautious and ingratiating at home, trying to please everyone.

Whenever they told Winifred to do something, she always obeyed and never dared to fight back.

If only they had called Winifred before Seth and Annelise arrived.

Unfortunately, it was too late.

The two little brats were already here.

There was nothing they could do, which made them incredibly frustrated.

Quentin sighed.

He gestured to Larissa and Demi, signaling them to keep quiet.

Then he looked at Shelly and said, "I'm going to go check on them."

Shelly twisted her waist and spoke in a breathy, coquettish tone, "Honey..."

"Be good."

Shelly buried her head in Quentin's waist, clinging to him affectionately. "I don't want you checking on that woman's kids. You know I'll get jealous."

Quentin sighed again. "I'm starting a company and collaborating with Iris, remember?"

"Oh!"

Shelly immediately lifted her head.

A bright smile bloomed on her face.

She patted Quentin's backside, pushing him forward. "Go on, go on, hurry up. Be polite to them and get on their good side. Winifred still has the formula."
