Chapter 125
Chapter 125
Sierra’s heart sank at the answer.
The long-tailed tit’s words meant they’d found the right spot, but what was even more brutal was that tons of dolphins really were getting massacred here.
The little long-tailed tit didn’t get an answer, so it chirped, “Miss, you look so nice. Why do you want to hurt dolphins? They’re already so helpless, aren’t they?”
After saying that, it puffed out its tiny chest. “Even if I knew how to get in, I wouldn’t tell you!”
It thought humans were the scariest creatures in the world.
Humans already had so much land and ocean to themselves, yet they still believed dolphins were stealing their territory.
But it was the dolphins who were really losing their homes.
The little long-tailed tit kept chirping, and everyone could feel just how upset it was.
Sierra explained, “We’re not here to hurt them. We’re here to save them. But we need lots and lots of evidence to bring these people before a human court, so those who hunt dolphins will be brought to justice.”
The long-tailed tit was torn between doubt and hope. It stammered, “R-Really?”
It just couldn’t believe there were people out there who’d actually try to save dolphins.
“But why did you only come now? These humans have been killing dolphins every year,” the little long-tailed tit said in a low, sad voice. “My mom told me that two Hustralians and one Silvanian once came here to secretly film, but they got caught.
“The two Hustralians were beaten to death and thrown into the sea, and the Silvanian had his head bashed in. After that, no one ever came to help the poor dolphins again.”
For a moment, Sierra’s mind went blank. When she heard about the two Hustralians being killed, she instinctively glanced at Alex.
She quickly asked, “Are you talking about the two Hustralians? Did you see them being killed by those people?”
The long-tailed tit tilted its head. “I didn’t see it myself. We don’t live long at all.
“My mom told me, and she heard it from her mom. Those two Hustralians rescued a beautiful dolphin, but they were killed for letting that dolphin go free.”
After saying that, the long-tailed tit was convinced Sierra was one of the good ones.
After all, they’d been here for a while, and no one had tried to hurt it. So it gave its wings a determined flap and said, ‘I trust
the you way you guys now. Let me show
in.”
Sierra was still in shock, but when she saw the little long-tailed tif getting ready to show them the way in, she hurriedly called out, “Let’s follow it!”
Soon enough, the long-tailed tit led everyone to a secluded spot.
“Here it is! The wire fence got chewed up by a fox a while back. It was worried someone would notice, so it piled a lot of grass over it to hide the damage,” the long-tailed tit chirped.
With that, the long-tailed tit fluttered over the fence. “Pretty lady, I heard the internet is really amazing these days.

Chapter 125
Just one phone and everyone around the world can see your videos. You have to show the whole world what’s happening here. I believe there are good humans out there, too,”
Sierra nodded and waved at the little long-tailed tit as it was about to leave. “I will.”
The long-tailed tit flew off.
Everyone forced their way through the busted fence, the space so cramped that Sierra and the others got scratched up. drawing blood in a few spots.
After wiping away the blood, they headed for the shore.
Not long after they entered, the sharp tang of blood mixed with the salty sea breeze hit their noses.
Under the moonlight, the beach was crammed with dolphins, their bodies packed so tightly together that not a single one had the chance to cry out in pain.
They were all dead.
Everyone just stood there on the shore, frozen in shock, staring at the scene for what felt like forever.
Sierra was the first to snap out of it. She instinctively grabbed Ethan’s sleeve, her voice thick with emotion and shaking. “Ethan, get this on video.”
Ethan had no idea how he managed to lift his arm and start filming.
All he knew was that his tears soaked the camera, and no matter how hard he tried to wipe them away, they just wouldn’t stop.
It was four in the morning, and the sun was about to burst through the clouds over the shore.
Sierra knew they couldn’t risk getting caught by those people.
So they found a far-off outcropping, hidden by big rocks.

Below was a cliff about twenty feet high, and the waves crashed against the stones with a fury, like the ocean itself was angry at humans for what they’d done to the dolphins.
They’d found a place to hide, but everyone was still shaken.
Timothy’s eyes were red and swollen, and with only the sound of the waves around them, he didn’t dare cry out loud. He just bit his sleeve, muffling his sobs.
But after a brief moment of shock, Sierra managed to steady herself. She rummaged through her backpack and pulled out some milk, water, and bread. “Stop crying.
“Save your strength. Once the sun comes up, we’ve got a tough fight ahead of us.”
Timothy took the bread and bit down hard. His salty tears soaked into the soft bread, making it taste unbearably bitter.
Timothy choked out, “I-I can’t eat.”
“If you can’t eat, just force it down,” Sierra said, shoving the bread toward his mouth. “We’re stuck here all day.
“We can’t let the fishermen spot us. We can only sneak out at night. So once the sun’s up, except for drinking water, we can’t make a sound, not even a whisper.”
Sierra didn’t fuss over Timothy anymore. She knew Timothy would understand what she meant.

Chapter 125
Sierra sat cross-legged on the ground, munching on her food while checking the camera gear.
She had five batteries, all fully charged, but if they had to keep filming all day, it wouldn’t be nearly enough.
“Let’s keep one phone for talking to Coleson, and use the rest for filming once the cameras die, Sierra said.
After saying that, Sierra suddenly realized she hadn’t contacted Henry or Thomas all this time.
She pulled out her phone, but there was zero signal.
She figured the locals must have deliberately sabotaged the cell tower to block the signal.
Sierra could only put her phone away.
After eating their bread, everyone sprawled out on the rocks, waiting for sunrise.
By five a.m., the sky was streaked with soft light as dawn rose slowly over the ocean.
Next to them, the little fishing village, its houses all painted with dolphins, lit up one by one.

Strong men and women, wielding sickles and steel forks, unlocked the gates with golden padlocks and started getting rid of yesterday’s rejected dolphins.
In less than an hour, the shoreline was spotless, as if it really was just a pure, innocent little fishing village.
If Sierra hadn’t filmed their cruelty, maybe people would actually buy it.
By ten o’clock, the sea, once stained a vivid red, had been cleansed by the waves, turning back into a clear, brilliant blue.
The sun blazed overhead, but the fishermen didn’t pack up and leave. Instead, they climbed aboard their boats and yachts, dragging huge black nets with them, and set off for deeper waters.
Timothy couldn’t help but ask, “Why are they heading out?”
Sierra just shook her head.
But it didn’t take long for the wildlife rescue team to find out.
On the shimmering sea, hundreds of dolphins were frantically swimming toward the shallows, their cries filled with agony.
Behind them, the fishermen lined up in a row, casting their black nets into the water, creating ring after ring of traps that slowly closed in on the dolphins.
Sierra’s fingers curled involuntarily.
She squeezed her eyes shut, but all she could hear were the desperate cries of hundreds of dolphins in pain.
‘It hurts. We just want it to stop, they seemed to be saying.
The fishermen were using technology to disrupt the dolphins’ sopar systems. Even more dolphins were forced into the shallow bay.
And then, the most brutal scene was about to unfold.
The fishermen rammed steel forks straight into the dolphins’ blowholes, cutting off their air.
The dolphins started shaking all over, and when their struggles got weaker, the fishermen just stabbed them with sickles, tearing into their bodies.

Chapter 125
The dolphins didn die right away. Even when they were dragged onto the boats, they kept thrashing in agony, their bodies twitching until, finally, they suffocated and went completely still.
At that moment, hundreds of boats were working together, turning the slaughter into a gruesome factory of death.
The shoreline shifted from deep blue to a bright, bloody red, violent and gruesome, like a real-life horror show unfolding on the beach.
The wildlife rescue team, crouched on the rocks and filming in secret, barely dared to breathe.
Even though they’d seen countless animals suffer at the hands of humans, witnessing the brutal slaughter of these dolphins made their hearts feel like they were being squeezed in a vise.
By noon, the fishermen had hauled in a massive catch.
They dragged the dolphins onto the shore, arranging them into a totemic display that stretched for hundreds of feet, a grotesque monument to their slaughter.
At one in the afternoon, another batch of dolphins was being slaughtered.
Ethan couldn’t take it anymore. He kept his voice low and asked, “Sierra, should we get out of here?”
Sierra shook her head. “There are people everywhere. If we get caught, we’d never get away, and they’d probably smash our cameras too. Then all this would’ve been for nothing.
“Right now, we either wait till night to sneak out, or hope Mr. Peters comes to rescue us.”
Timothy blurted out, “Are we really just supposed to stand here and watch these dolphins die right in front of us?”
Honestly, just standing by and letting them die was more than Timothy could take.
But his rational mind kept reminding him. If these people dared to do something this savage, there had to be some powerful forces backing them. Right now, all they could do was film the truth and get it out.
Everyone was caught in a battle between reason and emotion, and neither side was winning.
Just as Sierra was about to speak, a shrill alarm rang out all around them.
A drone buzzed overhead, right above their heads.
When they turned around, Sebastian was suddenly standing behind them, a cold, mocking smile on his face.
Sebastian looked at Sierra, a hint of mockery in his voice. “Why do you always have to be so smart? You found this place so fast.
“Too bad for you. Now that you know the truth, you’re not getting out of here alive.”
Then Sebastian raised his gun, aimed it at Sierra, and pulled the trigger, no hesitation at all.
