Chapter 128

Chapter 128

After a moment of shock, Sebastian rushed forward to see what was going on.

The six people crashed into the water with a loud splash, and Sebastian rushed over to see. To his surprise, a dozen orcas were swimming straight toward them, letting out furious cries.

The orcas quickly reached the six and lifted them onto their backs.

The seawater kept biting at Sierra’s wounds, but she couldn’t help but feel a wild thrill.

Sierra shot Sebastian a defiant glare, then flipped him off with a dramatic middle finger.

“Trash will always be trash, Sierra sneered to herself.

The other five quietly flipped him off, too, just like Sierra.

Sebastian’s eyes narrowed in alarm, and he yelled, “Everyone, get on board! Don’t let them escape. Go after them, now!”

Sierra heard him, gave Leah a quick pat on the head, and said, “Come on, let’s get out of here.”

At that moment, the System, which had been quiet for ages, suddenly chimed in. [Furry Rescue mission updated. Beep. Host, rescue every dolphin trapped in Kill Cove and let the whole world know about the horrors happening there.]

[Mission reward: WonderWild Zoo progress +50%]

As soon as Sierra heard it, she patted Leah’s head again and said, “Hold on.”

Leah flicked its tail on the water with a confused look. “What’s wrong?”

Sierra looked at the other five, then at the dolphins tangled up in the nets. “The System just updated with a new mission. We can’t count on anyone else to rescue these dolphins now.”

The sun was blazing overhead, but the November sea was icy enough to make Timothy shiver all over, his clothes already stripped off.

He gritted his teeth and said, “Exactly! With this many orcas backing us up, why should we be scared of a bunch of fishermen?”

‘If I walk away now, I’ll carry the guilt for the rest of my life, Timothy thought, his heart heavy.

“There are big boats on the shore; they might use them to chase us,” Sierra said, quickly scanning the area before her gaze settled on the nets. “The dolphins are trapped by those nets. If we break them apart, the dolphins can get themselves free.”

Sophie raised her combat knife. “I’ve got this.”

Sierra nodded. “Alright, we will cover you with the other orcas.”

Since some areas were too shallow for the orcas, they had to stick to cutting only the outer layer of nets to keep the orcas safe.

But now that the fishermen had already climbed down from the rocks, saving every dolphin was out of the question.

Sierra stared at the blood-red water, the heavy stench of blood thick in the air. She drew in a deep breath and slowly closed her eyes.

All around her, dolphins that had broken free from the nets swam out of the shallow bay into deeper waters. But instead of leaving, they surrounded Sierra in a tight cluster.

It was as if they were awaiting her orders, ready to inove at her signal.

Meanwhile, the dolphins stranded on the beach kept crying out, their eyes locked on Sierra as they wriggled and struggled on the sand.

Even trapped in the nets, they refused to give up on life.

Sierra opened her eyes, and together with the others, they all rushed toward the shore, cutting through net after net. She called out loudly to the dolphins stranded in the shallow water.

Sierra said, “Right now, only you can save yourselves! Don’t look at anything else, don’t think about anything else. Focus on your children, your friends, and your parents!

“Use every bit of strength you have and break free from this ocean of death!”

As soon as Sierra finished, the six of them slashed through the final layer of nets, just as the fishermen started coming straight for them in their boats.

Countless dolphins fought to right themselves, with the waves crashing around them. They pushed with everything they had, bit by bit, forcing their way into the deeper waters.

Sebastian stared at the unbelievable scene, his heart racing with shock.

‘Who would’ve thought a Hustralian could actually understand animal language? And have all these creatures so drawn to her?’ Sebastian thought, his mind reeling.

All that reputation Sebastian had for being good with animals was just smoke and mirrors. He knew better than anyone how nearly impossible it was to get animals to really cooperate with you.

But Sierra actually made it happen.

The fishermen stared in shock as dozens of dolphins at the shoreline started leaping and smashing through the nets. The scene was so unreal that it sent chills down their spines; they were honestly freaked out.

They gulped nervously and looked at Sebastian, blurting out, “What do we do now?”

‘If the dolphins escape, we can always catch more. But if those people get away, we’re totally screwed!’ one of them thought, panic rising.

If Sierra made it out, the whole world would find out what their town had done. Not just them, but their kids, their whole country, everyone would have to face the consequences.

Sebastian understood that perfectly.

He watched as the six made their way toward deeper waters, then glanced down at the boat beneath him, his eyes turning steely.

“Hustralians always have to learn the hard way. If they’re so eager to die, I’ll gladly help them out,” Sebastian sneered.

With that, a wicked grin-twisted across his face as he barked out, “Full speed ahead and crush them with the boat!”

The ship’s horn blared loudly, echoing across the water.

Sierra and the others were still swimming when they saw the ship suddenly veer toward them.

Seeing the danger, Sierra’s face fell. “Swim!” she yelled.

Leah saw what was happening and shouted from the deep water, “Sierra! Hurry up and swim over here! We’ll get you out, just come to us!”

Chapter 128

For the first time ever, Leah felt like being huge was a real disadvantage. If it were a smaller fish, it could’ve just zipped right over to help.

The ocean was ruled by its own creatures, not by humans.

As long as Sierra and the others could reach them, the orcas could carry them to safety.

But the shallow water was at least 300 feet from the deep, and Sierra and her group just couldn’t swim fast enough to make

Just as the ship was about to barrel into them, a white fishing boat suddenly appeared in the distance, its horn blaring loud

and clear.

Coleson grabbed a megaphone and shouted, “Sebastian, take a good look at this!”

At those words, Sebastian whipped his head around.

He saw the railing packed with animal experts, all holding up their phones, silently filming everything.

Coleson kept going, “We’re streaming this live to the whole world! Your crimes are about to be exposed, and justice is coming for you!”

Sebastian was frozen, just staring at the scene, his mind blanking out for a second.

He knew that right then, his name in the wildlife world was toast. And the one who ruined everything was Sierra.

A twisted, vicious grin spread across Sebastian’s face. “Full speed ahead! Not a single one of those six is leaving here alive!”

‘Even if I go down, I’ll make sure a few of them go down with me,’ Sebastian thought.

‘If those Hustralian experts are so desperate to play the hero, fine, let’s see how heroic they feel when I’m done with them, Sebastian sneered to himself.

The ship kept blasting its horn, churning out thick black smoke from the back.

The six of them didn’t even dare to pause for a breath, desperately swimming toward the deeper waters.

Meanwhile, the team of experts on Coleson’s ship watched the scene unfold, all of them sucking in a sharp breath.

One of them couldn’t help but exclaim, “Those guys are insane!”

Coleson was on edge, too. His heart in his throat for Sierra and the others,

Fortunately, the ship was still in the shallows. Even though it kept accelerating, they didn’t dare go too fast for fear of running aground.

Just as the ship was about to crush Sierra, they managed to haul themselves onto the orcas’ backs just in time.

Sebastian wasn’t backing off for a second. He barked at the captain to push the engines to the max, chase those orcas down,

no matter what.

“Sierra, what do we do? They’re moving way too fast; we can’t outrun that boat. Sooner or later, they’ll catch up to us,” Leah

called out.

Coleson’s ship was still hundreds of feet away. There was no way it could get here in time.

Sierra understood the situation instantly. She sent the dolphins scattering in all directions, hoping to draw the heat away.

Sebastian’s target was her, and with only one ship in play, she was determined to keep the rest of the dolphins and her crew

safe, no matter what.

Leah was exhausted. It honestly couldn’t remember ever swimming this fast in its entire life.

“Turns out I’ve got more in me than I thought, guess you really find your potential when you’re pushed to the limit, Leah mused, a bit amused by itself.

Leah’s mom led the aunties and older sisters from the pod, slamming into the hull over and over.

But the ship was just too massive. No matter how hard they hit it, they could only make it wobble a bit.

Just then, Sierra caught sight of a huge, shadowy mass rising up from the blood-streaked, blue waves.

She instantly knew what it was, and a grin broke out on her face.

‘My strongest backup has arrived!’ Sierra thought.
