Chapter 183 The Wronged Lion King
Solomon got out of the bushes and sat straight up, staring blankly, completely stunned.
Its mind raced with thoughts of the missing cub.
Sarah and Bonnie were well-known cheetah queens on the plains, with Bonnie being particularly fierce.
After Bonnie turned down a male lion’s advances, the lion tried to kill its five cubs to force it into mating.
However, Bonnie and Sarah were thick as thieves, so one of the female cheetahs went all out, brawling with the male cheetahs in a wild fight.
It even killed a male cheetah and injured three strong adults; one of them lost an eye.
Back then, Solomon had actually worried that those cheetahs might storm into its territory.
Now with Bellamy missing, Solomon pictured Sarah biting through its neck, Bonnie smashing its skull with a paw, and gouging out its eyes.
It thought, ‘Why am I so unlucky?’
Sierra watched as Solomon’s ears pressed flat against its chubby head, it’s tail tucked tightly under it, and its whole body was trembling like crazy. She was sure the cub was definitely in trouble.
Sarah, who was standing right next to them, caught on immediately, too. It snapped, “Solomon. You ate my cub, didn’t you?”
Solomon’s eyes bulged as it blurted out in panic, “No. I didn’t. I swear.”
Bonnie prowled around Solomon, ready to pounce, its tone dark and threatening. “The pygmy falcon said you planned to raise Bellamy before eating it. Is that true?”
“I swear I didn’t,” Solomon protested, panicked.
Seeing the two cheetahs still didn’t believe it, it whimpered miserably and finally looked to Sierra for help. “You have to
believe me.”
Solomon felt like it had been hit with the heaviest accusation ever.
It said, “Alright, at first I thought of raising Bellamy before eating it, but during those motherless days, it was so skinny, and I didn’t even feel right biting it.”
As Solomon spoke, it kept a wary eye on Sarah and Bonnie. Realizing it was about to get pounced on, it edged closer and glued itself to Sierra.
With Sierra’s scent all over it, Solomon felt braver than before.
Solomon said, “That kid is clever. It said that when Bonnie and Sarah find it, they will surely bring me prey as a gift.”
Solomon smiled shyly. “I thought it was a fair deal, so I kept the cub. It even promised that when it grows up, it will repay
me.”
Solomon was timid, but it had learned to read situations from a young age.
Bellamy was a little girl, but it got Sarah and Bonnie’s skills. It even dared to challenge the buffalo. It was going to dominate one day.
Solomon thought, ‘I’m treating Bellamy well for now. When it grows up, I’ll get to share in all the best things with it.
‘Those buffaloes are so tough. I still like antelopes better; They’re tender and tasty.’
The more Solomon thought about it, the more wronged it felt. It gave Sierra a pitiful look and whined, “I treat Bellamy like a treasure. I’ll depend on it when I’m older. There’s no way I’d eat it.”
Sierra looked at Solomon, who was twice her size, yet was sulking and looking all miserable. She just sighed. “I never said I didn’t believe you.”
Solomon was simple-minded. It thought like other animals, and honestly, it was kind of dumb.
If it ever tried to lie, Sierra would see right through it instantly.
“Let me ask around and see what the others know,” Sierra said.
Just as Sierra finished speaking, the pygmy falcon she was holding started fidgeting. It nimbly hopped onto Sierra’s shoulder and chirped, “I can get my buddies and famille de helft hunk for

As soon as the pygmy falcon spoke up, Sierra tracked her faltand teg, ‘Ah, I forgot about the little guy right here.’
“Thanks, all of you,” Sierra said. Then she glanced at Ethan.

Ethan caught on immediately, headed back to the car, grabbed two lamb legs, and started slicing them up to feed the helpful birds.
When Ethan turned around, he found Solomon staring straight at him, eyes shining with hungry anticipation.
Solomon lumbered over to Ethan, leaving a sticky trail of drool on the ground behind him.
It stopped near Ethan.
The next second, it sat back on its haunches, put its paws together, and gave Ethan a dramatic bow, making pleading, rumbling noises to butter him up.
It said, “Hey, handsome human, lamb isn’t really your thing. Let me take care of it.”
