Chapter 193 Seya And Carsey

“Sierra, I’m the clown from earlier who was entertaining the crowd. I brought you some coffee. Mind if I come in now?” It was the kid who’d helped Solomon escape.

Sierra immediately shot a look at Timothy, who was standing by the door.

Timothy opened the door right away.

“Sierra, are you alright?” the kid asked.

Over the years, the kid had grown into a young man. His hair was slightly curly, and he’d swapped out his clown outfit for a shabby, dusty one.

But he’d only managed to wipe off half the makeup on his face, probably rushing over in a hurry.

He was out of breath as he spoke, and the coffee on the tray didn’t look fancy, probably just the kind he drank himself.

Seeing Sierra stay silent, the young man started to get anxious.

He’d been backstage, changing clothes and getting ready to help Seya offstage, when he heard something had gone wrong.

He didn’t even have time to finish taking off his makeup before rushing over.

All the Hustralians wore frosty looks, and the young man swallowed hard, a hint of awe in his eyes.

He nervously set the tray on the table and, with his right hand, the only one he had left, handed Sierra a cup of coffee.

Sierra didn’t take it. Instead, her gaze drifted to his empty sleeve.

She knew someone was probably watching their every move, so she had to keep up her act.

Still, she kept her tone icy and distant, “I remember you. You’re the one-armed clown from earlier. What’s your name?”

The young man was surprised that Sierra actually remembered him. He got so excited he nearly tripped over his words, blurting out, “I-I’m Carsey. You can just call me Carsey.”

Sierra glanced at his empty sleeve.

Carsey snapped back to reality, shifting awkwardly to the side and quickly explained, “Sorry, I was born this way.”

Sierra replied coolly, “It’s fine. I’ll drink the coffee. You can leave now.”

Carsey started to panic a little.

The next second, he suddenly bowed.

Sierra jumped in surprise and quickly moved to the side.

But wherever Sierra moved, Carsey just bowed right there.

Finally, Sierra gave up. “Stop bowing to me. You’re going to give me bad luck.!

Carsey’s face went very pale. “I-I didn’t know about Hustralian customs. Really, I’m sorry.”

His brain was a total mess. He’d spent all day trying to figure out what to say, but the second he saw Sierra, everything flew out the window.

He said, “S-Sierra, please, I’m begging you. Don’t blame Seya for what happened. It didn’t mean to make you fall. It can’t talk, so can I apologize for it instead?”

Carsey’s skin was tanned, his lips almost black, but his eyes were big and bright.

He kept trying to play the sympathy card. “Seya’s only three years old. It was born in the circus and has never left. It’s super friendly, so-”

Carsey hesitated, a little nervous, then shot Sierra a hopeful glance.

But when he saw Sierra’s face was still cold and unreadable, Carsey lowered his head, his voice so soft it was almost lost.” So, please, don’t let the boss hurt Seya. Ah-”

Just then, a huge, burly man barged in, grabbed Carsey by the hair, and started dragging him out without so much as a warning.

Carsey let out a sharp scream.

His show of weakness didn’t earn the man any sympathy, and the abuse only got worse.

The man snarled, “Brat, who let you in here? Hi Successfully unlocked! yet? Still pleading for that elephant? Or did you forget about the lion you helped escape three years ago!

Carsey curled up on the ground, clutching his head, biting his lip, whimpering softly.

Sierra jumped up from her chair and marched straight over to the guy, her gaze cold as ice. “What do you think you’re doing?”

The man instantly got pissed off when a girl grabbed his hand, and he tried to yank himself free with all his strength.

But Sierra just clamped down on his wrist, not moving an inch.

His eyes went wide as he watched, helpless, while Sierra forced his hand down bit by bit.

“Ah!” The man howled in pain, cursing and screaming at the top of his lungs.

Sierra ignored his screams, and the man’s arm made bone-chilling crunches as she twisted it down, inch by inch.

“I warned you not to hit him, but you just had to ignore me. Now you’ll get a taste of what it’s like to be on the receiving end,” Sierra said coldly.

Timothy and Mark went over to help Carsey up.

But under his baggy clothes, he was just skin and bones.

Timothy was shocked, ‘How can anyone be this thin?’

The boss barged in, phone in hand, his face darkening as he took in the scene. “What the hell do you think you’re doing? Don’t think I won’t mess you up!”

Sierra turned her head, gave a sharp flick of her wrist, and the guy who’d been throwing punches was sent flying across the

room.

Sierra shot the circus boss a look like he was nothing but trash. “Keep your lapdog on a leash.”

guy,

still grimacing in pain on the floor, snapped his head up. “Who’re you calling a lapdog?”

“You, obviously,” Timothy shot back. “Stare all you want. It’s still you she is talking about. You’re a lapdog!”

The man couldn’t win against Timothy, and his face turned green with anger.

Sierra fixed her gaze on the circus boss. “thought you were just cruel to animals but turns out you treat people just as badly. Maybe a million dollars was too cheap.”

“Enough! I said a million dollars, and that’s all you’re getting. If that’s not enough, I’ll just throw in Carsey as your servant,” the boss sneered, eyes full of contempt.

“He’s nothing but trash. His mother was a whore, and he’s a bastard. God made him disabled because he’s dirty from the day he was born!” he added.

Carsey, still sprawled on the floor, suddenly snapped, “Don’t talk crap! My mom wasn’t like that. Say whatever you want about me, but leave my mom out of it; she’s gone!”

Carsey suddenly charged at the boss, catching him totally off guard.

But with only one arm, Carsey was easy to dodge. The boss just stepped aside, and Carsey lost his balance, hitting the tiles with a heavy thud.

The boss looked even more smug and mocking, grumbling under his breath and cursing quietly. But he didn’t even dare raise his voice around Sierra, too scared to talk back in front of her.

Sierra stepped in front of Carsey, shielding him. “So, have you settled things with the boss behind you yet?”

The boss’s face fell instantly.

“Looks like you have. Wire a million to my account right now,” Sierra said coldly.

She pointed at Carsey. “I’m taking Seya and Carsey, too.”
