Chapter 194 Badass Comeback
Her request wasn’t exactly unreasonable.
After all, this place was home to the largest population of elephants in the world. Losing Seya really wasn’t a big deal.
But Sierra’s bluntness made the owner feel totally embarrassed.
Still, even though the circus owner looked sour, he nodded and agreed.
Sierra gave him her account info and told him to send the money now.
“And sign a note for me,” Sierra said. “Just write that you’re giving me the money, the elephant, and Carsey of your own free
will.”
The circus owner was speechless. In the end, he reluctantly signed his name.
“So, Sierra, how are you planning to get the elephant back to Hustralia? I thought elephants were a protected species there, and private individuals aren’t allowed to keep them, right?” the circus owner asked.
“That’s not your problem,” Sierra replied coolly. “Even if I take Seya back and donate her to a zoo, its life will be way better than it ever was with you.”
“That’s debatable,” the circus owner shot back without missing a beat, his voice dripping with sarcasm.
Sierra had already accomplished her mission, so she couldn’t care less about whatever the circus owner had to say about
her.
Her micro camera had captured it all, the circus owner’s illegal keeping of wild animals, every incriminating detail.
Even if the circus owner figured it out now, it was already too late for him.
Because the moment Sierra installed the mini surveillance device, everything happening here was being streamed live to the military.
Everything the circus owner did and said today would end up as evidence in court.
But Sierra’s luck was off the charts. She even scored a fat stack of cash.
Once she got back, she could spoil the zoo animals with some extra treats.
As Sierra thought about it, a faint smile curved her lips. “Thanks, sir. Catch you next time.”
Then Sierra turned to Carsey. “Come on, Carsey. Let’s go pick up Seya and bring it home.”
Carsey just stood there, totally lost, staring at Sierra like he had no clue what she was talking about.
Timothy chuckled. “Hey, boy, don’t just stand there! Sierra means it’s time to welcome your awesome new life.”
With Sierra leading the way, everything always went off without a hitch.
Hearing that, Carsey finally snapped out of it and quickly caught up to Sierra;
He had no idea that Sierra’s arrival was about to turn his whole life upside down.
The group made their way to the area where the circus kept its animals.
With over a hundred animals in the circus, Sierra had expected the holding area to be huge. But what she saw next made her rethink everything she thought she knew about these people.
The area itself was massive, but every animal was crammed into a tiny iron cage. They couldn’t even turn around, much less lie down.
Most of the wild animals were forced to huddle awkwardly in their cramped cages, barely able to move.
As soon as they heard someone come in, their eyes lit up with hope.
When they realized it was Sierra, the excitement in the room spiked. The smaller animals scrabbled desperately at the bars, while the bigger ones let out desperate roars from behind their cages.
“Finally, miss! Are you here to rescue us?” one of them cried out.
“Miss, can you please let me out? I feel miserable every single day. I hate jumping through fire rings, and I hate performing,” another whimpered.
“I’m fading away, bit by bit. Please, help me,” a third pleaded.

He sneered, “Sierra, scared already? These creatures are nothing but trash. As long as you’re tougher than them, they’ll cower before you.”
With that, the circus owner walked over, grabbed an electric prod. He didn’t even hesitate, and he shoved it right into one of the cages.
The crackle of electricity buzzed in Sierra’s ears.
The animal, jolted by the shock, instinctively tried to bite, but the cage was so tiny it couldn’t even turn its head. All it could do was suffer, powerless to fight back.
After about a minute, the poor animal collapsed in the cage, limp as if all its bones had melted away, barely clinging to life.
The rest of the animals instantly went dead silent, tails tucked tight, shrinking into the corners of their cages, desperate to disappear and praying the humans wouldn’t notice them.
Sierra clenched her fists, barely holding back her fury. Her voice was tight with anger as she said, “Hand Seya over. I’m taking it and leaving now.”
But Sierra’s reaction wasn’t at all what the circus owner had been hoping for.
The circus owner snickered, “Giving Seya to you isn’t a problem. But with how massive it is, unless you’ve got a crane or something, there’s no way you guys are moving it.”
Sierra said coolly, “You don’t need to worry about the rest. Just unlock Seya’s cage.”
The circus owner’s expression changed. “Wait, what are you planning? You really think the elephant’s just going to walk out with you?”
Sierra fired back, “What, you trying to back out now?”
The circus owner was pissed off all over again.
But then he thought to himself, ‘Seya may be pretty even-tempered, but these folks clearly have no clue how to handle animals. If they’re unarmed, it wouldn’t take much for the animals to revolt.
‘Who knows, maybe once Seya’s out, it will just trample them and leave nothing but a mess behind.’
With that in mind, the circus owner tossed Sierra a key, letting her unlock the cage herself.
The crisp sound of the lock snapping open echoed in the air.
Seya just stood there, dazed, staring at the open cage door. The freedom it had dreamed of a thousand times was finally within reach.
But Seya didn’t dare take a single step out.
Just as the circus owner approached with the electric prod, Sierra caught him by the arm before he could do anything.
Sierra stared him down. “Sir, hands off. Seya’s mine now.”
Sierra’s grip was so strong that the circus owner’s hand started to shake, and he reluctantly withdrew it, looking defeated. Seya snapped out of it when it heard the noise.
It slowly stretched out its foot, feeling the solid ground beneath it.
Seya seemed to sense that, for once, a human was finally on its side. It gave its long trunk a hopeful flick, and as it walked past the circus owner, it let out a soft, almost mocking snort.
When he saw that even an elephant had the nerve to snort at him, the circus owner’s face clouded over with fury.
He instinctively tried to grab the electric prod, itching to zap it again.
But Sierra already had it locked tight in its grip.
In the end, he was the one left completely helpless.
What really stunned him was how Seya acted as if it could actually understand Sierra. It just lumbered after her, sticking close.
It was gone just like that!
The circus owner could only gape in disbelief as Sierra strolled right out the front gate, Seya trailing behind her.
Just as Sierra was about to walk out, a stick-thin bald dude came tearing in from outside the circus, yelling at the top of his lungs, “Don’t let them leave! Charles just got nabbed! It’s all their doing. They’re with the military!”
The circus owner’s gaze instantly locked onto Sierra.
Sierra paused, turned around, and, not intimidated at all, retorted, “We’re Hustralians. Why would we be working with your

military?”
The guy who came rushing in was considered a big shot in the circus.
He snapped, “You almost fooled me! I found out today that Charles got caught, and you traced everything back to the circus. There’s no way you’re leaving here alive!”
‘Anyone who knows the secret has to die!’ he thought.
The bald guy narrowed his eyes, pointing his gun straight at Sierra. “None of you is leaving here alive.”
Sierra locked eyes with the icy barrel, her voice cool and sharp. “When someone’s holding the knife, the rest are just meat on the board. But today? You’re the ones about to get carved up.”
In a flash, the wildlife rescue team behind Sierra pulled out their guns, aiming straight at the circus guys who’d just barged
Right then, a thunderous lion’s roar rumbled above their heads, shaking the whole place and making the circus crowd stop dead in their tracks.
