Chapter 250 Sierra Clears The Complete Surgery Guide
Harold stood frozen, staring at Sierra and the wildlife rescue team, who’d just “come back from the dead”.
“This is impossible!” he blurted out.
‘Sierra only had two boats. How could she have possibly managed to bring them back all by herself?’ Harold thought, his mind spinning.
And from the looks of it, Sierra had already been back on shore for quite some time.
“Pretty shocked, aren’t you, Harold?” Sierra stepped up with the wildlife rescue team, standing right in front of him. “Bet you’ re wondering how we’re still alive, and how we got here before you did.”
Timothy, standing behind her, chimed in, “Come on, boats are no match for helicopters.”
That one line made Harold instinctively glance over at the helicopters parked by the shore.
Those were definitely military helicopters.
‘Sierra… Sierra is actually with the military!’ Harold thought, his mind reeling.
‘Wait, wasn’t Sierra just the director of a zoo?’ Harold thought, completely baffled.
His thoughts were a tangled mess, like a ball of yarn that had been knocked over. He just couldn’t make sense of any of it.
Sierra didn’t mind clearing things up for him. “I lied to you earlier today. I had already reported everything to the Audit Team.
“If you were innocent, you wouldn’t be afraid of an investigation, and you wouldn’t try to get back at me. But if you weren’t…”
She paused for a moment, and then said, “If you weren’t innocent, you’d probably try to pull something. Honestly, I thought you’d just fake some invoices or something, not actually try to kill us.”
Harold’s lips quivered. “So… you…”
“That’s why I played it safe. I check in with someone every two hours. If I go longer than that without sending a message, the military will come looking for me,” Sierra said, her voice steady.
Harold’s mind was blown.
‘It’s over. It’s all over,’ he thought, despair washing over him.
He’d always figured he could just hush up his people like always.
No matter how much he schemed, he never saw it coming that Sierra was way more powerful than he’d ever imagined.
Harold just stood there, totally stunned.
But soon, Harold noticed a black SUV pulling up. He squinted. Those were definitely official government plates.
Sure enough, the doors swung open, and five men in jackets stepped out, each one radiating an air of authority.
And right behind them was his boss.
The boss, who used to act all high and mighty, was now grinning from ear to ear’as he trailed behind the group.
In less than a minute, they were right in front of him.
The man in the lead wore narrow-rimmed glasses, his gaze cold and piercing. He gave Harold a quick once-over, and then pulled out a badge with a black cover from his pocket.
“Harold Levy, right? We’re from the Audit Team. We need you to cooperate with us and answer some questions about the missing funds,” the man said, his tone firm.
Harold’s eyes widened in panic as he stammered, “I… I didn’t do it! Sir, you have to believe me!”
“We only deal in facts,” said his boss.
His boss didn’t lift a finger to help him.
Seeing how things were going, the cop just said, “Take them in.”
Harold and the rest of the boat crew were all escorted away.
The lead cop stayed behind.
Sophie seemed to know him. She gave a quick nod and jumped right in, taking the lead in the conversation.
Finally, the cop turned to Sierra and said, “Ms. Successfully unlocked! made it clear that your case comes first, and
they’re not going easy on it.
“Harold’s in for a rough time, but the whole process will take a while. If there’s any new development, I’ll keep you posted.”

Chapter 250 Sierra Clears The Complete Surgery Gul…
Sierra shook his hand and replied, “I believe in justice.”
Harold was arrested, and the Audit Team moved so fast that it left the finance department scrambling.
The finance folks didn’t even have time to fudge the numbers. Every dirty secret in the books was exposed in less than three days.
Turned out Harold had embezzled over 100 million dollars in public funds over the past year, and now his case was being handed over to the court for trial.
And to top it off, Sierra had also sued Harold for attempted murder, since he tried to cover his tracks by getting rid of her.
With Harold taken away for questioning, Sierra headed back to check on Cherry and its calf.
The baby dolphin had made it through, but its lower jaw was completely gone.
Sierra and a team of veterinary specialists spent two days hashing out a plan, and then they got started on designing a prosthetic jaw for the little dolphin.
It was not like this had never been done before.
About ten years ago, a pink dolphin lost its lower jaw to a boat engine while leading ships through the water. Luckily, it was rescued in time and got a steel jaw built for it.
Fast forward to just recently, and that pink dolphin showed up again. With its steel jaw, it was basically ruling the ocean.
The research team filmed it and posted it online, and it went viral.
So yeah, this kind of surgery could be done. It just took a lot of time.
Sierra called in the same surgical team that had crafted the steel jaw for the pink dolphin years ago.
After half an hour of meticulous adjustments and fitting, the baby dolphin’s lower jaw-once just raw, exposed flesh-was transformed into a sleek, steel prosthetic.
Meanwhile, Ethan and the wildlife rescue team, except for Sierra and Sophie, headed out to sea again over the next two weeks, putting together detailed profiles for every marine animal that couldn’t survive on its own in the ocean.
Thomas was putting in work every single day, mapping out the area at WonderWild Zoo where the new oceanarium would soon take shape.
So, on the morning Sierra was on her way to the ocean pier to pick up Ethan and the crew, that familiar mechanical, emotionless voice from the System echoed in her head once again.
The System: [Ding!]
[Congratulations, Host! You’ve completed the “Save the Ocean” mission. System upgrade is now at 100%.]
[Congratulations, Host! Your Complete Surgery Guide progress has reached 100%.]
Sierra stopped in her tracks, caught off guard.
She wasn’t surprised about the “Save the Ocean” mission, but the Complete Surgery Guide hitting 100% left her momentarily stunned.
The Complete Surgery Guide had been stuck at 99% for at least half a year. She’d been logging into the System to learn it almost every day, but it was like an endless rabbit hole.
There was always something new to learn, and it never seemed to end.
She didn’t expect that it would suddenly hit 100% today.
“Sierra, what’s going on?” Sophie asked, seeing Sierra looking oddly cheerful and wondering if something else had happened.
Sierra snapped out of it, gave Sophie a small smile, then leaned in and quietly filled her in.
Sophie grinned. “Mission accomplished. That’s great news! Let’s all take it easy when we get back, and tonight let’s have a big dinner and some drinks to celebrate.”
Sierra was totally on board with that idea.
Her phone buzzed in her pocket just as she nodded.
Seeing Thomas’s name pop up, Sierra picked up right away.
“Sierra, you gotta hear this. Something’s gone down!” Thomas blurted out.
