Boss, Your Wife Signed the Divorce Agreement Before the Wedding novel Chapter 100

Luke's interest in Raelynn far exceeded everyone's expectations.

Everyone except Sebastian, who stood there like a complete bystander. He didn't even bother saying another word to Luke, simply lowering his eyes and saying coolly, "Let's go look at the antiques."

Seraphina raised an eyebrow in silent triumph.

Men were inherently territorial over their wives, regardless of whether love was involved. They would never tolerate another man encroaching on their territory.

If he didn't even possess that basic instinct of possession...

It meant his apathy and disgust had reached an absolute peak.

Preston was honestly relieved Raelynn had walked away. At least she didn't have to witness this deeply chilling side of Sebastian.

Unable to agree with any of this, Preston gave a stiff nod. "I'm going to take a walk around."

Luke offered a polite gesture, letting him leave.

Julian stayed behind, narrowing his eyes at Luke. "You can't be serious. Love at first sight?"

Luke let out a low chuckle and raised his glass. "We're all consenting adults. No need to take it too seriously. If we click, we date. If we don't, we go our separate ways."

Those words definitely carried a hint of a playboy's casualness.

Even Julian hesitated for a moment.

So he just liked her face and wanted a brief fling?

Even if Sebastian didn't care, a daughter-in-law of the Croix family could never be allowed to engage in something so scandalous.

Julian scanned their surroundings, lowering his voice. "Luke. Anyone else is fine, but not her."

"Alright. Then tell me, who's her boyfriend or husband? If you know she's not single, you can at least drop a name, right?"

That instantly rendered Julian speechless.

Since Sebastian completely refused to publicly acknowledge Raelynn, Julian couldn't exactly expose her identity as Mrs. Croix.

Besides, Seraphina was standing right there. Spilling the secret now would just make everything painfully awkward.

Julian scowled.

Luke clinked his glass against Julian's.

"You're not making up this 'she's not single' nonsense just because you're into her too, are you?" That was the only logical explanation Luke could think of.

"What are you talking about? That's ridiculous." Julian frowned, his tone casual. "She's just not good enough for you."
