Boss, Your Wife Signed the Divorce Agreement Before the Wedding novel Chapter 222

She didn't explain who the actual parents were.

The parents were both right there.

He was just busy playing the role of a free dad to someone else's kid.

Sebastian didn't respond to Raelynn's excuse.

He just continued to stare thoughtfully at Lily.

His intense focus on Lily made Raelynn incredibly uncomfortable.

Alarm bells rang wildly in her head. Not giving him the chance to ask anything else, she led Lily straight into the classroom.

The classroom was spacious, with a large clearing in the middle for interactive games.

Raelynn purposely took Lily to the farthest corner she could find.

Thankfully, Shane was clinging to Sebastian like glue.

Sebastian had no time to pay attention to her and Lily.

Raelynn finally had a moment to breathe a sigh of relief.

During the games portion.

From within the crowd, Raelynn spotted Sebastian in the center of the room. Despite Shane's large and heavy build, Sebastian effortlessly picked him up to complete the activities.

Seraphina stood nearby, laughing and cheering them on.

Looking exactly like a gentle mother and wife.

Anyone looking would think they were a blissfully happy family.

The mothers surrounding Seraphina cast envious glances her way, showering her with endless praise. "Your husband is so patient with your child, and he's so strikingly handsome. I thought he was a movie star."

A deep smile reached Seraphina's eyes. "Oh, him? He's definitely very responsible."

She didn't deny the word "husband."

Out of the corner of her eye, she caught sight of Raelynn in the crowd.

Tilting her chin up slightly, a fleeting sneer crossed her lips.

Shane ran over, staring at Lily, and immediately burst into laughter. "Did your parents not even come to keep you company? You're so pathetic. Do you not have a dad?"

At those words, Lily's little face flushed red. A flash of confusion and hurt crossed her innocent eyes.

But she instinctively grasped Raelynn's hand. "I don't need a dad. I just need my mom."

Shane mocked her even more brazenly. "So that means you don't have one! Then what's the difference between you and an orphan? Nobody's going to protect you. Not like me. Today, I'm the happiest kid in The Elite Kindergarten."

Lily's face went blank. Even though her eyes were red, she didn't cry or throw a tantrum.

Raelynn couldn't fathom how the Vance family had spoiled this little brat into such a monster.

The word "orphan" pierced right through the defensive walls she had built around her heart.

And yet.

Her daughter's father was entirely devoted to someone else.

Raelynn's face turned icy. She stared at Shane, using a threatening tone that never failed to scare children. "If you ever dare to bully Lily again, I'm going to tell every single kid in this kindergarten that your sister is a thief who steals other people's husbands. And since you're the brother of a thief, everyone will despise you and spit on you. You'll be isolated, and no one will ever like you again."
