Seeing this, Leo quickly chimed in. "Careful, Seb is still injured. Take it easy."
When he rushed over today, he had heard from the doctor that the situation had been pretty critical.
So, seeing her about to make a sudden move, he felt the need to issue a warning.
Forced to stop, Seraphina pulled back.
Though a bit disappointed, she was thrilled that the one thing she had been obsessing over was finally resolved.
If Sebastian said it would happen, it was an absolute certainty.
Leo couldn't help but marvel. "Man, when you step in, there's nothing that can't be fixed. Digi-Medica's database has never been opened up for external collaboration before. The rights have always been locked down by NexusMind."
The thought of it brought a brilliant smile to Seraphina's face.
With that kind of backing, her product's popularity would skyrocket.
She would use Faye's massive database to achieve incredible success.
When that time came... how could the Croix family possibly reject her?
It would undoubtedly tear down the barriers to her joining their family.
Faye's database was unimaginably vast and profound. She had always wanted to meet the creator in person, but Preston Moreno had refused to make the introduction. Getting a look at the Digi-Medica database first was a solid alternative.

Raelynn returned to NexusMind Technologies.
She discussed the matter with Preston.
"There's no point wasting time fighting them on this," she said. "We aren't giving her the rights for free. They still have to pay the licensing fees in full, and we remain in control."
It was the truth.
Her previous reluctance had admittedly been fueled partly by personal grievances.
But you couldn't let petty grudges hold you back from doing big things.
They were just collaborating and paying for usage. The copyright would forever belong to her.
Preston had no objections. "As long as you, the creator, agree, I'm perfectly fine with it."
"Millions of dollars, billed annually, with a five-year contract requiring the first three years paid upfront. Isn't this a bit steep?"
Her project hadn't even officially launched yet, and she was already looking at a massive financial hemorrhage.
Preston offered a polite smile. "You know as well as I do that this is the first time Faye has ever licensed these rights. If your project succeeds, this will be your biggest selling point. Who in the medical tech industry doesn't respect Faye's work?"
That was a fact Seraphina couldn't deny, and the exact reason she had been so desperate for this partnership.
But...
She pointed at a specific clause. "If our project fails due to unforeseen circumstances or force majeure, the licensing fees are non-refundable?"
Raelynn strolled over, asking in a slow, casual tone, "Don't you have confidence in your own project?"
Seraphina had been about to argue the point, but Raelynn's interruption caught her off guard. She let out a cold scoff. "Ms. Ortiz, if you don't understand business matters, there's no need to interrupt us."
Raelynn took a seat, leaning back against the sofa and crossing her legs. "If you lack confidence, you can refuse to sign. There are plenty of people lining up for these rights. We aren't going to be your safety net if you fail. NexusMind requires absolute competence to support the debut of this database. The risk is entirely yours to bear."
Seraphina's gaze turned icy.
With Raelynn sitting right there, even if she wanted to carefully negotiate the terms, she couldn't do it without losing face.
