Boss, Your Wife Signed the Divorce Agreement Before the Wedding novel Chapter 442

Sebastian finally set his teacup down.

"I'll handle it."

He made his stance clear.

The tight knot in Seraphina's chest instantly loosened.

She knew it. Sebastian couldn't stand being publicly tied to Raelynn either.

She hated it, and Sebastian hated it even more.

Raelynn's little "demands" over the phone had clearly backfired. There was no way Sebastian was going to leave the news up just to spite her.

Raelynn had wildly miscalculated.

Leo chimed in, trying to lighten the mood. "Well, at least Raelynn's face didn't make the cut. Seb completely covered it up, so she didn't get to parade herself in front of the public."

"With that in mind, you could just tell people the woman in the photo is Sera. Why not?"

Seraphina's eyes flickered, but she smoothly brushed it off. "I don't need to piggyback on someone else's shadow."

Knowing Sebastian was going to scrub the story, she felt much more at ease.

At least she'd have an out when dealing with her fans later.

But right now...

"I have my interview in three days. That's what I should be focusing on."

Instead of pulling pathetic stunts for male attention like Raelynn.

Leo looked over. "You got the notice?"

Seraphina smiled. "It's official."

"Then you're a lock. Director Moreno usually only takes three candidates. With your resume, you're practically guaranteed a spot."

Seraphina knew her background and credentials were a massive advantage. Out of three spots, one was absolutely hers. She just had to nail the interview.

Too much had happened recently.

Getting into the PhD program was her trump card.

It was the only way to salvage her reputation.

Maybe then she could finally reclaim the dignity she lost at the Croix estate.

Speaking of which...

Seraphina looked at Sebastian, completely dropping the topic of the leaked photos as if she didn't have a care in the world.

"Seb, can you come with me on the day of the interview? I'd feel much better if you were there."

Sebastian leaned back in his chair and gave a slow, deliberate nod. "Sure."
