Boss, Your Wife Signed the Divorce Agreement Before the Wedding novel Chapter 443

He was more than happy to talk business.

Raelynn was pleasantly surprised. Even though Seraphina was now involved, Keystone Manufacturing as a whole was still highly cooperative.

But the phrase "heard great things" struck her as odd. "You know of me?"

Mr. Lawson was about to answer when his phone buzzed with a work call. Raelynn politely gestured. "Please, take the call. I'll just look around on my own."

Keystone's factory was sprawling.

It even boasted its own independent R&D labs.

She still hadn't had a chance to formally negotiate prices with Mr. Lawson.

Raelynn was escorted to a private meeting room.

She hadn't been sitting for long.

The door clicked open again.

When Raelynn saw Seraphina walk in, she wasn't particularly shocked.

She had known beforehand that Seraphina, having just dumped a fortune into the company, would likely be around.

Seraphina shot Raelynn an icy glare as her assistant announced, "Ms. Ortiz is here to discuss the details for the next phase of the contract."

Seraphina took a seat in a single armchair, crossing her legs as she picked up the quote sheet. "Let's hear it. What's NexusMind's ideal price point?"

Raelynn recognized the sheer arrogance rolling off of her.

She cut straight to the chase. "I want the unit price capped at $1,800."

Seraphina scoffed. "Do you think Keystone is a charity? We might as well close shop if we don't turn a profit. $1,980. That's my absolute bottom line. If that doesn't work for you, feel free to take your business elsewhere."

Raelynn knew exactly what this was—Seraphina was intentionally making things difficult.

During the first phase, they had agreed on $1,920. Now she was unilaterally jacking up the price.

"Who exactly are you speaking for?" Raelynn asked.

Seraphina frowned. "That sounds like an internal matter for Keystone, Raelynn. Just who do you think you're questioning?"

She tossed the quote sheet onto the table and let out a light laugh. "It's not that I'm completely unreasonable, but that depends entirely on how much 'sincerity' you're willing to show me. I'm actually quite agreeable, provided you check your attitude. If you impress me, I might consider your price."

Raelynn's eyes were utterly void of emotion.

She stared blankly at Seraphina's smug smile.
