Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 107

Vivienne and Bianca’s room was in the most spacious courtyard of the east wing.

In her past life, this was where she had lived.

Vivienne leaned against the windowsill, holding Little Stray, her gaze sweeping over the familiar yet strange surroundings.

Back then, she had truly despised this place. Even the small comfort she later found with elder Mrs. Crowhurst couldn’t erase the dark shadow the estate cast on her.

It was here that her fear of Serena abandoning her intensified. After returning home, she was so terrified that Serena would truly cast her aside that she did everything she could to please both Serena and Isabella…

Tessa and Marissa finished tidying the room and went to their own to get settled.

Bianca glanced around, closed the door, and pulled out her bag of comics, sitting cross-legged on the floor.

“Hey! Come here!”

Vivienne stretched and walked over. “What do you want to ask?”

Bianca had been holding it in all through the car ride, only managing to keep quiet because Vivienne wanted to sleep. Now that there were no interruptions, she could finally speak her mind.

“I’ve been doing a lot of research these past few days, and I’m starting to think you’re the real deal.”

Vivienne frowned, mimicking her by sitting cross-legged. “There’s research material on this kind of thing?”

“Not for just anyone. You have to think outside the box.” She then dumped out a bag of comics and novels, grabbing one at random. “Look! This heroine is reborn with a magical pocket dimension. This one is the villainess of the story who comes back for revenge after a wrongful death, and she even has a ‘strategy system’ with her.”

Vivienne’s eyelid twitched.

Bianca grew more excited, pulling out a few more she had been reading in the car.

“And this one! The heroine gets transported into a book and becomes a character in the story. To make sure the plot reaches its proper conclusion, she has to play her part. Once the mission is complete, she can return to her own world and get endless riches.”

Vivienne pinched the bridge of her nose. “What are you trying to say?”

Bianca dropped the book and looked at Vivienne with admiration. “So, can you tell me? Which one are you?”

Vivienne’s face suddenly turned cold. “Are you trying to get yourself killed?”

“Huh?” Bianca paused, then stroked her chin thoughtfully. “I get it. It’s a secret, and if I let it slip, I’ll die?”

Vivienne raised an eyebrow, watching her with amusement. “You really don’t doubt me at all?”

Bianca shook her head. “You might not believe this, but there’s been this voice in my head telling me I have to trust you. I think… if everything you said about my future is true, maybe that’s the future me, trying to warn me.”

“There’s a traitor in the Ravenshire family. Ten years from now, Grandpa will be poisoned to death at Obsidian Estate.”

“Impossible!” Bianca’s eyes trembled as she cried out.

How could this be? Did it mean that in the future, after losing her mother, she would lose her grandfather too?

Vivienne turned to look at her. “Bianca, I came from ten years in the future. I am the Vivienne from ten years from now. I lived through all of it.”

All the fight went out of Bianca. She stared blankly at Vivienne. What did ‘lived through all of it’ mean?

Vivienne waved a hand, clearing away the mess on the floor. “Do you remember what I told you before?”

You have one, and only one, chance to change things.

Bianca’s gaze gradually cleared, her eyes becoming bright and focused. “Then… what do I need to do?”

“You don’t need to do anything,” Vivienne said. “You just need to grow up well, just as your grandpa and your mom hope you will. Once you have a new understanding and a new perspective on the world, we will definitely be able to break this cycle.”
