Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 132

“Ah!”

Vivienne hugged her head as she tumbled down the slope for a full minute before her back slammed into a large tree, knocking the gun from her hand.

“Ugh…” She grunted, finally catching her breath as she collapsed to the ground.

In recent years, Alderwick’s forestry industry had thrived. The roads were carved into the mountainsides, and the slopes were covered in lush green vegetation. The sunlight filtered through the canopy, casting fragmented shadows.

Vivienne stared blankly at the green canopy above.

The extra car, the bulletproof glass, and the meaningful look exchanged between Cedric and her great-grandmother when they left…

So, Alaric had also been at the old estate for the past two months.

Vivienne raised her hand, looking at the numerous scratches on her palm and the back of her hand, her gaze gradually sharpening.

She slowly closed her eyes and gently tapped the space between her eyebrows with her battered fingertips.

Instantly.

The surrounding scenery blurred and faded away. Night descended, and the gate to the stage appeared.

[Welcome to the Narrative Realm]

Welcome my ass!

Vivienne, radiating killing intent, charged forward without a second thought.

The Narrative Realm took the form of a book entwined with green vines. Each vine was covered in leaves that glowed with a faint green light, waving like tiny hands.

Vivienne stared at it for a moment, then suddenly erupted! She grabbed a vine and began yanking at it like a madwoman. In no time, a branch was stripped bare.

[Warning! Warning! Do not destroy the Gate of Narrative, or else…]

“Or else what?!”

With a ferocious expression, Vivienne grabbed an escaping vine and furiously ripped off its leaves.

“You’re the one who issued the mission. I finally complete it, and you decide to ‘eliminate’ me? Who are you trying to fool?”

“Didn’t I warn you? Don’t mess with me, or we’ll go down together!”

“I just noticed you have a few more vines and your leaves have gotten bigger. Looks like I’m not completely useless to you, huh? The one thing I hate most is being used without getting my fair share in return. You dare to play me? I’ll strip every single leaf you have! It’s so dark in here; without those leaves to soak up the light, let’s see how you survive in the dark!”

Vivienne was as good as her word, her attacks growing more vicious.

The Gate of Narrative trembled, and the leaves on all its vines curled up. But even that couldn’t save them from Vivienne’s wrath.

The glow grew weaker and weaker. Seeing that Vivienne had no intention of stopping, the Gate of Narrative emitted a blinding light, transforming into a normal-sized book and attempting to flee.

“You think you can run?”

Vivienne wasn’t about to let it go. She grabbed a vine, dragged it back, and threw it to the ground, preparing to stomp on it.

“Let’s just die together!”

She lifted her foot, but just as she was about to bring it down, a brilliant light exploded before her eyes, ejecting her from the world of her consciousness.

[Ding—]

A mechanical sound echoed in her mind.

[Elimination Countdown: 23:59:59]

[Scenario Prompt: The Golden Orchid Arc is in progress.]

This time, the mechanical voice was different, interspersed with the crackling of static.

The Golden Orchid Arc?

The darkened sky made the forest look gloomy and terrifying. Bianca called out a few times but gave up when she got no response.

She struggled to sit up, only then realizing her lower body wouldn’t move at all.

It turned out she had fallen into a deep ditch filled with felled trees. The immense impact had scattered the logs, and her legs were now pinned beneath them.

Bianca looked down and began to panic, struggling and kicking but unable to generate any force.

“Is anyone there? Help me! Help me!”

On the other side.

Alaric sat in the car as the heavy rain hammered against the window, splashing like blooming flowers.

The young man glanced at the clock in the car. Half an hour had passed since the incident on the mountain road.

He pondered for a moment, then rolled down the window halfway. “Wesley Crain.”

The man standing nearby, who was coordinating with his colleagues, heard his name and immediately walked over. “Young Master.”

“Any news?”

Wesley passed a red cloth through the window. “We haven’t found the two young ladies yet, but we found this. We’re not sure who it belongs to.”

Alaric hadn’t intended to take it, but he recognized a corner of the cloth and knew it was from the locket Elder Mrs. Crowhurst always wore.

The torrential rain splattered against the car window, soaking the bright red cord in the young man’s hand.

Alaric glanced at it, took the locket, and tapped on the window. “Get Cedric in the car. Leave half the men here to continue the search. We’re going back to Alderwick for more help.”

With that, he pressed the button, and the window slowly rose, shutting out the world outside.
