Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 139

A shot rang out.

The bullet cut through the rain, grazing Vivienne's cheek before embedding itself in the tree trunk in front of them.

"Ah!"

Vivienne screamed and fell to the ground, pulling Bianca down with her.

Bianca looked back in terror.

The man walked toward them slowly, step by step. Seeing Bianca look at him, he deliberately stuck out the tip of his tongue in a predatory smile.

A second shot rang out.

The man fired his weapon, hitting Bianca in the leg.

"Ah!"

Bianca had never experienced such pain. A choked sob was stuck in her throat for a long moment before she could scream. Her body trembled in agony as she used all her strength to push Vivienne away. "Go! Run!"

Vivienne screamed in panic, clutching her head, completely at a loss. She tried to get up and run, but her legs gave out, and she stumbled back to the ground.

The man looked at the two helpless little things, the sadistic urges deep within him stirring to life.

He slowly approached, raised his foot, and stomped down hard on Bianca's uninjured leg. He then raised his gun and pointed it at her stomach.

Bianca struggled fiercely until she saw the gun aimed at her. Then, she finally fell still.

"Guess it's your unlucky day. I was going to let you go, but you just had to run right into my line of fire."

The man cocked his gun. "In your next life, watch where you're going."

A shot rang out.

The man's body jolted. He looked down at his stomach in disbelief. A searing pain brought him back to reality. He looked up, trying to see who had fired.

Another shot rang out.

The bullet pierced his forehead, and a spray of blood and gore exploded into the rain.

The man's shocked expression was still frozen on his face as he collapsed to the ground.

The mountain of pressure before her had crumbled. Bianca dazedly turned her head.

The girl who had been so panicked just moments ago seemed like a different person. She was dropping to one knee, holding a pistol with both hands, her gaze sharper than a knife.

Seeing Bianca look at her, the girl walked over, handed the gun to Bianca, and guided her hands, teaching her how to cock it.

"Bianca. Look down on him."

Bianca fired.

At these words, everyone simultaneously looked forward.

"Grandfather!"

"Grandpa!"

Against the backdrop of the vast rain-swept mountains, Vivienne was carrying Bianca on her back. The two of them, as if by some unspoken agreement, smiled and waved at Caspian.

In that instant, the downpour stopped, and the dark clouds dispersed.

A vibrant rainbow stretched across the newly washed sky.

One of them was covered in mud, the other had a leg soaked in blood, but the smiles on their faces were brighter than anything.

Caspian's eyes grew moist. He stood stunned for a moment before running forward, leaning on his cane.

The others, as if waking from a dream, surged forward after him. Only Alaric remained where he was, unmoving.

"Vivienne? Bianca?" Caspian's voice was choked with emotion.

Vivienne smiled and gently set Bianca down. "Grandfather, I did as you said. I brought Bianca back."

Caspian's hand trembled as he reached out to wipe the mud from her face. "Good, good!"

Vivienne looked contentedly at the rainbow, her eyes shining.

This was the true masterpiece she wanted to give to the high summer of her thirteenth year.

"Grandfather…"

*Did you see it?*

Before she could finish, she fainted.
