Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 144

Julian.

The Ravenshire family's most rebellious little hellion.

Aside from Caspian, there wasn't a single person in the entire family he respected.

In her past life, when their grandfather had called a family meeting to announce that Alaric would be his successor, Julian had thrown a fit on the spot. He had argued with the old man for the first time, stormed out of Obsidian Estate, and the very next day, he took out a newspaper ad to unilaterally sever ties with the Ravenshire family.

But he was a force to be reckoned with. After leaving the family, he didn't fade into obscurity. Instead, he emerged like a sharpened blade. With the help of his mother's family, he skyrocketed to success, eventually building a business empire that could rival Leander's.

But Julian's end was not a happy one. His meteoric rise and ruthless methods had earned him countless enemies in both legitimate and underworld circles. In the end, he was betrayed by someone close to him, and his body was dumped in the Merriton River.

Vivienne remembered feeling a pang of sadness when she heard the news of his death.

Because when Alaric had thrown her out of their grandfather's funeral, Julian was the only one who had spoken up for her.

She had been crying and begging to see Caspian one last time, refusing to leave. Alaric's bodyguards had dragged her all the way across Northwing Court.

Many people were at the funeral, but they did nothing but point and whisper.

It was Julian who had stormed into Northwing Court with his own group of bodyguards and kicked away the men dragging her.

Not only that, when Alaric rushed over at the commotion, Julian charged forward without a word and punched him.

"Damn it, Alaric, you useless bastard! You couldn't even protect the people right under your nose! Why don't you just die?! Grandfather loved you the most! I'm going to kill you today and send you down to keep him company!"

Alaric was no pushover. After taking the punch, he immediately threw one back. "Who asked you to come? When Grandfather was alive, we practically had to beg you to visit, and now you show up? Get out! You're not welcome at Obsidian Estate."

The two of them were like lit fuses, completely disregarding the family's dignity as they brawled in public.

Seeing her silence, Julian gave a lazy smile. In fact, he and Vivienne had met before this.

Once, the school had required all students to participate in a community service project. The middle and high school divisions were assigned to the same neighborhood. Julian had been slacking off on a balcony when he overheard Vivienne chatting with a group of classmates.

As a new student who had been placed directly into the honors program, everyone was curious about her.

To quickly fit in, Vivienne had deliberately mentioned her connection to the Ravenshire family. She smugly told her classmates that although she was only an adopted daughter, she was the only one allowed to live in Obsidian Estate. She even bragged that her grandfather valued her more than anyone else and would give her anything she wanted.

Julian had found it laughable. Had the Ravenshire family's reputation fallen so low that any upstart nobody dared to ride its coattails?

So, with his hands in his pockets, he had pretended to stroll nonchalantly past the group of middle schoolers.

Julian was famous and handsome, a legendary figure among the younger students. The classmates gathered around Vivienne immediately recognized him and excitedly pushed her forward to greet her supposed relative.
