Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 145

"Julian, Vivienne's over here."

Vivienne had also worn an ingratiating smile. "Julian…"

Before she could finish, Julian cut her off with a look of disgust. "Get lost. Don't try to associate with me. We're not friends."

Julian was certain Vivienne remembered that incident, because he recalled her eyes turning red right after he'd said it.

"What's this about an 'outsider'?" Caspian struck the floor with his cane, the sharp sound making Evelyn jump. "Who taught you to speak like that?"

Julian lazily picked at his ear. "Grand…"

Before he could finish, Vivienne shifted her gaze from him and gently tapped Caspian's arm. "Grandfather, please don't be angry. Julian didn't mean it."

"?" Julian raised an eyebrow. "Who are you talking to? And who gave you permission to use my first name?"

The old Mr. Ravenshire also paused, initially intending to correct Vivienne, but Julian's retort made him immediately switch targets. He pointed his cane at him. "You, shut up!"

Julian was left speechless.

Vivienne looked aggrieved. "Grandfather, this isn't the first time Julian has called me an outsider. When I first started at the school, my classmates asked about my family, so I told them I lived at Obsidian Estate and how good you are to me.

"As it happened, Julian was there that day. I went to say hello, but he told me in front of everyone that we weren't friends. After that, the other students thought I was a liar and didn't want to hang out with me anymore."

"You little brat!" Caspian's anger flared. He now pointed his cane directly at Julian. "Did this happen or not?"

"…" Julian was so angry he had to laugh. He'd thought this little coward would just cry when intimidated, but he never expected her to bite back.

He nodded, owning up to his actions. "Yes, it happened. But Grandfather, you should have seen the smug look on her face. I said that because I was afraid she would tarnish the Ravenshire family's name."

"?" Julian, who had already reached the door, completely lost it at her words. He spun around and marched back. "Why can't I have any?"

He had been so angry he'd forgotten the main point.

Vivienne smiled, a sweet and innocent expression on her face.

"I'm doing this for your own good. My mother always said some men have systems too fragile for such potent remedies. Your father spends all his time chasing skirts and will be drained dry sooner or later. As his son, you've surely inherited his bad habits. So, something that potent just isn't suitable for you."

"!"

Everyone in the room froze, staring in shock at the girl on the bed.

She showed no restraint, always seeming to find the most shocking thing to say.
