Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 146

“What is this nonsense?!”

Julian was still too stunned to react, but Leander was already on his feet, shouting, “Dad! This girl is spouting utter filth. Aren’t you going to do something about it?”

Everyone quickly came to their senses and turned to look at Caspian.

Julian’s flash of anger instantly died down, his expression turning complicated as he looked at Vivienne.

Vivienne cautiously leaned closer to Caspian. “Grandpa, my mom told me. It’s because a male model she’s into recently goes to the same club as Uncle Leander. She also said that he…” She paused, her expression innocent. “Grandpa, what’s a threesome?”

Caspian was stumped by the question. When he looked up, Alaric and Cyril were also looking at him.

He was speechless.

Leander had intended to launch a preemptive strike, but he never expected to be so thoroughly humiliated by Vivienne’s single sentence.

Evelyn’s expression was awkward, and for a moment, she didn’t know what to say. Dorian, after a brief pause, patted Leander’s shoulder. “Let’s step outside first.”

Leander glanced up at the old man and saw a storm brewing in his eyes, which made him shiver.

Back at Obsidian Estate, the old man had given him a subtle warning. Leander had felt something was off then, and now he finally understood what it was.

Serena was just a down-on-her-luck relative staying with the Ravenshires, someone who hadn’t even broken into high society. If even she could find out about his private affairs with a little digging, then it was certain that others with ulterior motives could too.

A cold sweat broke out over Leander. He didn’t dare meet the old man’s gaze again and scurried out of the hospital room in disgrace.

The old man stood up and patted Vivienne’s head. “You get some rest.”

Vivienne nodded, acting as if nothing had happened. “Grandpa, can I play on my phone?”

Caspian glanced at Cedric, who immediately took a pink phone from his pocket and placed it on the bedside table.

The old man’s expression was severe. He didn't even glance at Leander, walking past him with his cane and taking a seat.

Dorian turned to the three younger men. “Alaric, take Cyril and Julian for a walk.”

“All of you, come in,” the old man interrupted in a deep voice.

Evelyn shot Julian a look, and the group silently entered the room.

Leander hadn’t expected the old man to humiliate him so publicly. He steeled himself and said, “Dad, let the kids go. You should at least let me explain. You can’t just believe everything that crazy girl says, can you?”

Caspian slipped a hand into his pocket, his fingertips gently rubbing a small device in his palm.

The gesture was a bit odd, and everyone who saw it wondered what the old man was touching.
