Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 186

Talia was breathtakingly radiant, oozing the kind of terrifyingly expensive elegance that screamed she wasn't someone to mess with. The moment she stepped into the gifted class, every single student's attention was glued to her.

"Mom."

"Godmother."

Vivienne and Bianca stood up in unison.

Talia pulled off her sunglasses, her gaze sweeping leisurely across the room. She flashed a warm, approachable smile. "Oh, wonderful, everyone is here! To celebrate the start of the new semester, I've brought a small gift for the class. I hope you all like it."

Right on cue, Ms. Quinn wheeled in a cart stacked high with beautifully wrapped boxes.

"Class, Vivienne and Bianca's mother has generously provided back-to-school gifts for everyone. Let's give her a round of applause."

The students were shocked but clapped enthusiastically.

Ms. Quinn wheeled the cart down the aisles, handing out the identical boxes. A few curious students immediately tore theirs open.

The shock in the room was palpable. Inside were custom-engraved agate and purple-hair calligraphy pens crafted by a legendary master.

The purple-hair brush alone was worth more than its weight in gold, but the custom engraving on the agate made it practically priceless. You could buy the brushes if you were rich enough, but commissioning a master to create over forty personalized sets at once? That took immense power, not just money.

The kids in the gifted class knew luxury when they saw it. They quietly and carefully packed the pens away.

Vivienne looked at Bianca, but Bianca just shook her head, equally clueless.

Talia then pulled two sleek black cards from her purse and handed them over. Before Vivienne could even react, Bianca snatched them up, her grin practically reaching her ears.

"Thanks, Mom!"

Harrison shrugged mockingly. "Sure, sure. I don't know shit. But..." His smile turned vicious. "Are you really just going to roll over? You don't want to find a way to get some payback?"

Bernard glared at him. "What are you getting at?"

Harrison slung an arm around Bernard's shoulder and jutted his chin toward the walkway. "Look. Right over there."

Not far away, Cyril Ravenshire was walking through the dappled shade with his backpack slung over one shoulder. The heavens seemed to have a blatant favorite—wherever Cyril stood, everyone else instantly became background noise.

"Fuck him. Acting all hot and untouchable. I've been sick of looking at him since day one," Bernard spat angrily. "And he didn't even flinch at the little welcome gift we sent him yesterday!"

"Exactly. Total coward," Harrison sneered. "Makes sense, though. He's just a bastard. The Ravenshires probably don't even care about him. So? You interested?"

"Yeah." Bernard stood up slowly, stretching lazily. "A Ravenshire bastard is still a Ravenshire. As long as I get to stomp on someone with that last name, I'm interested."
